Recently contacted Wagtails to rehome one of their dogs, found the whole experience frustrating and came to the overall conclusion that the many do-gooders that run it dont actually have a clue about dogs or completely lack the ability to communicate effectively between themselves and genuine people willing to rehome a rescue dog with all issues and ailments that come with such a commitment. the small team who volutarily work for wagtails rescue do a great job in saving many dogs lives , the donation is fair and on par with many other rescues and i cannot praise them enough for the sterling work they do, i have 2 dogs from wagtails and can only say how pleased i have been with the service and aftercare offered by the rescue i told them my situation and they found us a dog to suit our needs , i have already recommended to many friends (read more)

am glad you had a good experience with this centre. Unfortunately my mother did not have this experience. Unfortunately i found the woman who owns it, very rude and verbally aggressive. She was unable to provide evidence of microchip number, vaccinations, worming or flea treatment. Also my mother was asked to pay £150....so much for a donation. I have recently rehomed a dog from Battersea Dogs Home, so i was shocked by administration and management of Wagtails, Brentwood
