I placed an express order paying $14.95 on March 4th, 2013 with HTCSimUnlock.com and still today March 17th haven't received anything from them. I have requested a refund twice and have also received no reply, no unlock code and no refund. There is no way to get a hold of the company. Emails to them get an automated response and you can never get any other response from them. I warning you ahead of time DON'T USE THEM!!!! (read more)

I chose refund, which was supposed to be automatic, never received refund. No reply to numerous e-mails, no contact phone. people with same issue should file complaint w/FTC and ICC division of the F.B.I. I wanted to unlock my Desire X. Didn't see the warnings before. I paid and got the notice that I had to also buy the deep search as my phone is probably too new to be in the database (took about 1 hour). I didn't have much time and thought that the total was still acceptable so I also paid that.
But I got the feeling that that is maybe their way of working- catch them and then cash in twice.
Then I read the reviews here and thought OMG now I can fight this out with them.

My local phone shop tried for 2 days to unlock my Desire S and failed and worse still lost all my settings in the process! This firm provided a code in minutes and it worked first time and what's more they were cheaper. I ordered an unlock code for my "My Touch 3G" and when i entered the unlock code, it kept giving me an error that it's wrong. I contacted htcsimunlock customer support asking for help, but they never replied nor gave me a refund. HTCSimunlock.com is a fraud! they will not issue refunds nor the customer support respond to any of your emails. They claim the support will answer your emails in 24 hours. This is a big fat LIE. I have emailed this stupid ass company many times with no responses from a real person. Only get automatic generated emails saying they will get with me in 24 hours. HTC Sim unlock seemed like a very good site at first and their "nothing to lose, refund guarantee" sounded great. Here's what happened: I ordered an unlock code for an HTC One X and got a response saying "Code couldn't be found in database" and it offered to do a deep search. First they tell you that neither they nor any other site can get your code through normal chanels. This is of course after you've already paid them. Then they try to charge you an additional 15 bucks. I went to another site and got it for 8 dollars instead of the 30 dollars they want. They said they refunded my money but pay pal has no record of the refund. I've sent them 3 emails and they have still not responded. It's been 5 days now.
