“awful service, rushed and over opinionated!!”

I must have been in this place on a bad day because I had a terrible experience here. The lady at the desk didn't have much time for me and when I did look at dresses I was told "you wouldn't suit that" "this one is you" and almost prevented from trying dresses I liked. When I did try the first dress the little old lady helping me barely did it up, pulled me out of the changing room and no sooner had i stood on the box to look in the mirror she said "right next dress!" !!! I was so overwhelmed by the whole 'wedding dress' experience I felt that i would never find a dress within my budget, then i walked into London Bride and all my worries were put to bed. They are so kind and helpful giving honest advice and because their staff are not on commission you dont feel like your being given the 'hard sell' There is a huge amount of choice including all sizes to try on and they are flexible with price and ordering meaning i could buy a beautiful sample in great... Had the worst service ever among the shops I called. When I called them in June, they did not let me make an appointment because my weddning date is not fixed ( I said it is going to be Autumn this year, but no firm date yet, then they said "no you cannot make an appointment without the date"). This is the only shop that did not let me make an appointment with that reason! Fortunately, I found another, great, helpful and supportive store in London that has the same dress, and had a great... Exceptional service! I couldnt believe how special i was made to feel here, i was given honest and intelligent advice and the whole process was stress free and actually fun! I recently went to London Bride in Walworth Road, London feeling nervous. I was put at ease straight away by the lady who served me. I tried on 6 dresses and went back to the 2nd one and ordered it and i wasnt pressurised. Infact the assistant said the cheaper one was nicer. I was very impressed by their honesty. I recommend London Bride 100% and cant wait to go back for my fitting in a couple of months. (read more)

This shop is a god send! I couldnt believe the amazing prices for many popular designers such as benjamin roberts, justin alexander, mori lee and many more, it just showed how over priced other stores are! The lady who helped me instore, ami, was very open and honest about what suited me and didnt try to encourage me to buy a more expensive dress which didnt do me justice! I was overwhelmed by the care and attention paid to me at London Bride, I was very nervous about trying dresses on as I am a larger lady and i had little time until my wedding day, however once I was reassured by the charming staff that they had many dresses in larger sizes going up to a 36uk and I could even buy their sample at a lovely discounted price form their huge 'StarBuy' range which is essentially a continuous sale!
