I was very happy when I received my cloche as the weather at present is not very good for growing veg. I have a standard 1m2 raised bed and the cloche fitted perfectly. It was easy to assemble and install. The only problem was that 2 of the tent peg tags came off, thus we were not able to peg it down. I contacted Podington to tell them of the problem and received a prompt response. I placed a second order for my other raised bed and was shocked to find that they sent me a replacement cloche... I ordered some barrel strainers online and they were delivered to guernsey by post in a few days. Trouble free and efficient service. My one observation is over packaging they came in an eight inch cardboard box, when a Jiffy bag would have been perfect as it saves on waste and the postman could have posted ith through the door and saved me a journey to retrieve it. pots are good, but a bit soggy when wet, like the idea that the pot can be planted straight into the baskets without disturbing the roots, for that reason they are a good buy, and cheap for the amount of pots there are. cannot wait to see the results, happy gardening. (read more)

I am, as always, delighted with the products from Podington, and the products arrived very quickly. However, I was ordering some sacks of compost etc for delivery. I added more items to my online order, as it kept telling me to just spend another x pounds for free delivery. Finally I added a packet of seeds to get to the magic £75 for free delivery, but the £15 delivery charge remained. On phoning to check I was told the free delivery did not apply to everything! On the up side, Podington web sales were quite helpful, however their Christmas stock is no longer available and it looks like I'll have to wait until next October before I can re-order. I recently purchased the last one in stock of a Lemax Item via online. Item was advertised as and I purchased what was supposedly a new item but the item I received most clearly was not new. Item had been repaired and lubricated with copper grease in an attempt by someone to fix the faulty lights on one side of the wheel and unit had seen extensive use possibly as a demo version because the plastic where the wheel fits was totally worn out of shape.
