“Wrong size bought”

Bought a top for my daughter in advance for her birthday that was wrong size. They would not exchange for right size, in store or through customer service on line because outside returns policy. Top still has tags on, never been worn, still in box. I can't see why not. Inadequate and very poor customer service. Be careful if you buy from this company!!!!! Lost a customer” - I was a loyal shopper of Zara online for years. I bought some items last month which I made a partial return. They claimed they never received 2 of the items I returned. They "searched" their warehouse and then said they would close the case. After years of MY loyalty, I am shocked at how they could just shut me down like this. Ordered items for store pick up. Staff pretty unhelpful and distant at store pick up (Covent Garden) When I got back, realised dress was in wrong colour. Then received email from Zara apologising - and said to send it back if I didn't want it. Of course I don't, it's the wrong colour! I have ordered a coat in sale online. It never arrived, when speaking to customer services, they don't have a clue what's going on, they don't follow any processes with regards to lost -stolen goods. I ordered 10 sale items online and only 8 arrived? I contacted customer service immediately and was interogated. I was treated like i was a criminal. Ordered a numer of items on 27th Jan and order just kept saying processing so rang them after 3 days asking whats going on? Thy assured me order would be withe me withen 48 hours and there was no problems. I have done a lot of online shopping in my day, and dealt with customer service reps on returns for damaged or defective items; none have been as rude, unaccommodating, and flat out careless as Zara customer support. Paid tenpounds for express delivry. The dpd left a card indicating he did not try to deliver to aneighbour when we wereout. Apparently zara wont let them. I called customer service and they said they will check with the warehouse about the missing item and contact me after, they sent me a email saying they haven't made a mistake and will not issue a replacement or refund.
