Ordered an item on a Monday before 1200 noon, was asked if I wanted to pay £4 extra to have the goods "next day delivery" to which I declined, BIG MISTAKE, if you don't go for this option and allow them to make more money from you then they obviously decide to do nothing at all with the order for 2/3 days. I ordered two spare drive belts for my Sebo vacuum cleaner. One fitted, one did not. Contacted 'support', sending pictures of the original and their non-matching spare. Entered a kafka-esque correspondence with the company, which basically boils down to 'our system says it's the right part.' espares seem unable or deliberately unwilling to consider that their system is not right. I ordered a washing machine sump pump and some oven cleaning material. Placed the order on Tuesday at 3.39pm, the package arrived before noon on wednesday. The website showed the picture for the part and that's what I got. The total package was well wrapped and content secure. I am happy and would order from them again. Price seemed fine too. I reviewed an item which was basically a tiny rubber foot no larger than 8mm in diameter that cost £29 for eight. I gave a ballanced review and even concluded that it was more likely the manufactures fault for the high price and not espares. My negative review was refused publication on the grounds that it was "inapropriate". So my advice to you is this. We ordered a spare part for a dishwasher from e-spares because they appeared to offer the best and fastest deal. How wrong we could be! With the notice about the dispatch came a worrying message to the effect of 'if your item has not arrived within 10-14 days please contact us'. We rang after ten days and were told that we had to wait another four days before we could complain. The phone call cost us 5 p per minute and they made sure we had to wait extensively so that this phone call alone... (read more)

I bought an oven element from espares - I specifically checked that this element fits my oven model on the website, but when the product arrived it clearly didn't. On calling customer services, I was told that I needed a different product & there was no way of finding this out beforehand. I've been asked to return the product and then buy another one once I receive a refund. I've already spent £7 for delivery which espares refused to refund me and I'm being asked for another £7 for... I needed an element for my Electrolux oven after the disappointment of removing my dinner from the oven and finding it lukewarm :-( I googled to find out whether the job could be done easily by me or my husband or whether we needed an engineer... luckily it can be a quick diy job. Once I knew what we needed I found E-Spares, again by google; the price of the element seemed reasonable (less than a call-out fee!) so I purchased it. I ordered a spare part for my oven a week last Monday p,. They eventually got around to processing the order and dispatched Friday pm!!! As I sit at time of writing 9 days later.... part still not arrived. Have called the customer Services line and I may well have been talking to a lump of wood. All I got was ".... our usual policy is...." type responses. They have just lost a customer and don't seem bothered and I would like people to know how poor they were. Won't use them again. I ordered a new cooker element from espares, paying double the amount on most other sites as it claimed the part was a genuine manufacturer part. It arrived promptly, but the box contained no evidence of it being genuine at all - the element was wrapped in an offcut of cardboard with no manufacturer labeling anywhere to be seen. Espares I ordered a part on Tuesday AM. I would have expected a high volume company like this (i.e. dealing with Internet orders so they are set up for shipping online orders) to ship PM and at the very least to mark as despatched 24 hours later. The following today the items were showing up as on order, which made me suspicious that they didn't have them instock, even they both items were showing in stock online. Wouldn't use again, nor would I recommend anybody else to! I ordered on Thursday night and paid extra to get next day delivery -so expected to get the part on Saturday. No where on the checkout does it say they don't do weekend deliveries. Before it got dispatched I changed the delivery but didn't record this, so had to ring up again and the woman I spoke to was rude! So now I won't get the part until tomorrow. I ordered 4 items from espares which were all listed as in stock. After several weeks of waiting, I received a response stating that I needed to pay higher shipping as I am in Europe. After 4 weeks of waiting they finally shipped the parts. Two weeks later I received a notification that my returned items were received at their warehouse (wha?). Espares wrongly identified the internal door on my AEG freezer despite me providing them all the necessary model details/numbers, door sizes and location within the freezer. They asked me to contact Electrolux for the correct part number, when the correct door sized was received it did not appear to be an original. Hello, I made an order on line from Pays Basques last Tuesday 3rd July. This is not the first time I have ordered from Espares. I ordered 3 items 2 weeks ago and still waiting for my delivery! I was told that DPD was unable to deliver my order and it has been returned to their warehouse. Its funny because I never received even a card from DPD that someone attempted deliver me an item. Even the tracking number wasn't right so couldn't track my order! I assume that its never been sent! Merchant refused to cancel order despite receiving cancellation request prior to despatch. Merchant also takes payment at point of order unlike most online retailers who take payment on despatch of order. Would not recommend this seller and will not use again. (read more)

A very good site, east to use with help if needed on the live customer services, very good videos that are helpful for replacing the parts that you have purchased. The delivery was a few days over. But thats just one of those things. I have ordered a few items from them 1 for the machine machine and the other for my jet wash, all in all a good company with loads of info on the site. snh (read more)

I have used e-spares on three separate occasions to obtain parts for my Neff double fan oven and cooker hood. The parts were excellent quality, arrived on time and were competitively priced. I found the e-spares website to be easy to navigate and some pages have clear videos with helpful advice on how to replace the parts. A week to go before Xmas and the oven packed up. I googled Aeg oven spares and after looking at several sites I settled on espares. The reason for this was the design of the website, with clear instructions on how to use it to find the item required. The prices are quite good, certainly better than the big names. Ordered 4 spare parts & limescale remover for my dishwasher & money debited my account the next day. Was told items were in stock and would be despatched within 2 days. Was told limescale remover was despatched but never arrived. 10 days later and after numerous phone calls, items still awaiting delivery. Customer services not helpful at all. Surprise, surprise, the goods were still sent, despite, me cancelling them.
So now I have to go through the process of returning them and trying to get a refund in 2012.
I also have to drive to the local delivery office to pick up the jiffy bag of filters that I did not want. More expense on my part, about a 10 mile round trip.
I ordered through another supplier the same day, who had free delivery (1st class) and posted out that day if you ordered by 4:00pm.
I ordered at about 2:00pm and the filters turned up the next day. I shan't name the company, because I don't feel that it's fair to name them in an Espares review.
I will however be doing a review of the other company under their name on this site.
