Visited store for a pink 2DS, was told out of stock, asked if I could purchase the demo model, as was struggling to get one! Was told no, but some should be coming back into stock. Left it over the weekend, ordered online on Monday to pick up from store on Wednesday - bonus! Got there to collect and they had given me the demo model, without saying anything! “RUBBISH SERVICE, RUBBISH DELIVERY, NEVER AGAIN!!”

“Online service an absolute joke”

I ordered an item online and paid the £40 which went out my account and was told it would be with me in 3-5 working days, over a week later I still didn't have the item, I emailed them to be told it was lost in transit and a replacement would be sent which I would receive in 4 days. 3 days later I got an email saying that they couldn't arrange delivery as it was out of stock and they would refund me and would have to go instore to get it, when I went online to check the item again it had gone… Read Full Review

So I placed my order and everything seemed fine waited in for my delievey and it didn't come. Waited again and checked my tracking to see they had tracked it as unable to delivey although I was in all day. And I was listening out for it all day! Still no delivey! The courier says they can't deal with any of my queries as it was order from a retailer so speak to them. Ring smyths toys to then be told it was in the hands of the courier!!! “poor customer service”

i purchased a pair of roller skates in the broadstairs store which were priced at £24.99 on the box along with others on the shelf on going through the till they came up at £34.99 after a heated discussion with the manager we were told we had to pay the higher price. its not the customers fault that you have mispriced these and would think a big store like yours would let them go as a gesture of goodwill to your customer like any of the other major stores.its put me off shopping here again… Read Full Review

I placed order, had confirmation order number, money withdrawn. When trying to get update i email them only to be told that order not completed. tied to log in to web site, but the site is not generating emails to obtain passwords. Tried phoning, 22 in queue, 2 mins later 21 in queue, no further info given for 30 mins just the droning music . hung up, rang again, 23 in queue, 2 mins later 22 in queue. been waiting for 30 mins now and still no update. i went into Wallsend Smyths looking for a red hulk action figure the girl i asked was serving someone else but quickly came back to help me,she went up ladders and looked through the figures and found what i was looking for excellent... I have been waiting for a snow glow elsa doll to come back into stock on any website at all for some time. Smyths have been advertising for days that they would have dolls in stock on 21st November so I logged on to their website & kept checking from about 5am. At 8:53am the buy button changed from grey to red and I clicked it straight away. I was already a registered customer so completed the transaction within 30 seconds. “What A Waste of Time”

After placing an online order with Smyths for 2 items to collect with my local store, i finally recieved an email saying only one was available despite the system telling me that they had them, as a result I lost the discount I had recieved for spending a certain amount. We visited the drake house store in Sheffield at the weekend, we found the store layout good and found everything we needed easily. We spent over £200, which I had to discover myself by Leaning over the till as the check out guy seemed reluctant to disclose the cost of our purchases! Met today the most awkward, unfriendly, unhelpful, rude, complete lack of common sense, face covered in food whilst continuing to chew the rest of her food, only likes the word no, yes, its the Manager of the store. “In Stock, out of stock, low stock all means the same !”

They just charge your card them please themselves! JOKE! Customer Services are happy to NOT help, repeating themselves over and over from a monotone script! “Worst service ever!! Avoid ”

I ordered 2 disney fisher price toys. They arrived in a timely manner. However a) they had sent me 2 of the same items, b) it was an item that I hadn't ordered and c) it was an item they wasn't on their website!!! “Excellent staff”

We have purchased twice from the walsall branch in the last two weeks and the staff have been excellent, for some reason we were unable to reserve on line so gave the store a call and on both occasions the staff went above & beyond the call of duty to find the toys and reserve them for us and genuinely seems happy to do so, cannot recommend the staff highly enough!… Read Full Review

“Absolutely Useless Customer Service”

Two weeks ago I ordered an item off the Smyths Toys website for delivery (£239). After waiting patiently for signed delivery in the house for 3 days (est. delivery 2-3 working days) with no results, I decided that I'd spend the Saturday out of the house.
