“ Non-existence After Sales Service.”

I went to this shop in Cheltenham to purchase some toys and wrapping paper. As I saw many items were on sale, I thought will be a good idea to ask if trampolines are in special offer or reduced price, when I went to the till to find out. “Refund Problem”

35 week pregnant daughter purchased a Sleep Positioner reduced from £25 to £15. After reading reviews online she decided she did not require it. They accused us of having opened it as there was a small hair in the packaging. My daughter had not even taken the plastic covered cushion out of the box. We had to be assertive to obtain our refund, whilst the three members of staff were discussing how balloons would be taken down. Won't be using them again. “Rubbish Toy and NO REFUND!!!”

My experience with Smiths Toys was HORRIFIC!!! I've asked for a refund several times, beginning from the very same day I received the toy and to date I still haven't been refunded. I placed my order back in November 2015 and it's now the 11th of January. Furthermore, they are not even replying to my emails anymore. “Christmas refund policy ”

Bought a star war toy for grandson end of November for Christmas he had 2 the same bought so I said I would take the 1 I bought back with receipt to be told it was over 28 days refund policy . So had to have it put onto a gift card which I am not happy about . Do you not do a extended refund policy at Christmas like other stores do . Which you have till end of January to take things back . Visited the newly opened Blackburn store. Had a bit of a rocky start with a couple of less than efficient staff members. Ended up speaking to a manager on the shop floor who sorted everything out to my complete satisfaction. Her Customer Service was excellent and to say she went the extra mile for me does not do her justice. Ordered 2 items . Order went through twice and charged twice . 2days later , received 2 deliveries , 1 box containing 2 items and 1 item with my name and address stuck on . “Need better staff training”

On the plus side I was able to order an item for click and collect which had completely sold out elsewhere even on the internet. However the problem arose when I got to the 'collect' from the Salisbury store. “Do not buy from Smyths”

Cortonwood store South Yorkshire: bought a stand to attach to the pram for a toddler to stand on in August. Attached it correctly. On the third time of use (short journeys) a screw went missing. Contacted store to chase up the missing screw with the manufacturers and they refused saying that we'd had it longer than 28 days. Well one would expect it to last longer than three months. Ordered an item online which was confirmed as to be delivered within a few days, no rush for me. Next day received an email saying that my order had been cancelled, but money taken from my account and would take up to 8 days to refund. “Disgraceful cost £280 for 1 hour”

Dont buy anything from this company any spent £280 on a shark water slide bouncy castle. Upon taking the water pipe out the castle had a foot long rip!! Refused to refund or replace was used for 1 hour it is a faulty product and not fit for purpose. Many emails including consumer credit act and they were very rude and did not give a hoot!!!
