Only giving one star because the option to give no stars is not available. Poor in-store service (Slough) and the Manager just couldn't give two hoots. If you're looking for toys try these other much more Customer Friendly places instead: AMAZON ENTERTAINER TOYRUS and there's many, many nicer and less expensive stores out there. “Vouchers on tv”

The voucher offer on TV is a ripoff unless you download the voucher and take it with you you get nothing off and when you phone up to enquire why you didn't get a voucher the management at kirkstall get clever and rude saying it's your fault you should have downloaded your own but the TV ad doesn't say anything and when you read from their website money off NOW the manager isn't interested… Read Full Review

“Send damaged goods”

Ordered online. Items came with no protective packaging. Just stuck loose in a box to 'rattle around'. Packing box was perfect, but one of the items inside was damaged, so clearly damaged when sent out. Online asked for photo's, then when sent, told me to take to store for inspection (why photo's then). Wouldn't reserve a replacement, to avoid it being sold out by the time a replacement could be ordered. Previous experience with online 'customer support' is also very poor. Wouldn't touch this company with a bargepole. Order gold edition FIFA 17 for my sons birthday present and paid extra to secure it on pre order 3 weeks before his birthday went in store to pick it up and they had sold it, the attitude of the staff and store manager were nothing short of disgraceful. Went into the peterborough store today to buy a lego set that was labelled as £17.99. When we got to the till assistant said it was £29.99. We explained that its not labelled up like that. Manager came over and basically accused us of changing the price label over but said if all other stock was labelled the same price they would honour it. “Excellent product quick delivery ”

I recently bought the wiggle car for my three year old nephew for his birthday. He absolutely loves the car, it's so easy to use and light weight. This place is the worst for customer service! I went in looking to buy a toy as a gift. Absolutely ALL BOXES for that toy were damaged. I went to this shop in Cheltenham to purchase some toys and wrapping paper. As I saw many items were on sale, I thought will be a good idea to ask if trampolines are in special offer or reduced price, when I went to the till to find out. “Refund Problem”

35 week pregnant daughter purchased a Sleep Positioner reduced from £25 to £15. After reading reviews online she decided she did not require it. They accused us of having opened it as there was a small hair in the packaging. My daughter had not even taken the plastic covered cushion out of the box. We had to be assertive to obtain our refund, whilst the three members of staff were discussing how balloons would be taken down. Won't be using them again. “Rubbish Toy and NO REFUND!!!”

My experience with Smiths Toys was HORRIFIC!!! I've asked for a refund several times, beginning from the very same day I received the toy and to date I still haven't been refunded. I placed my order back in November 2015 and it's now the 11th of January. Furthermore, they are not even replying to my emails anymore. “Christmas refund policy ”

Bought a star war toy for grandson end of November for Christmas he had 2 the same bought so I said I would take the 1 I bought back with receipt to be told it was over 28 days refund policy . So had to have it put onto a gift card which I am not happy about . Do you not do a extended refund policy at Christmas like other stores do . Which you have till end of January to take things back .
