I received an Order Conformation via email, yet the purchase did not go through. Rather confusing how I got the conformation email of an order that did not go through. A lady called me to say that there was a problem somewhere. I decided to go to a different site and pay £20 LESS for the exact same thing. Wanted three of the display cabinets that were listed on special offer. Admittedly he advert did say 'limited stock' but they order system still let me order the three units. Got phone call the next day to say I could only have one at the discounted price, and they could offer the additional two but at full price (double the cost)! The steamer unit I ordered previously for my Mother is really very good, so good I am now ordering one each for myself & my sister! Quite powerful but we did opt for the commersial use clothes steamer. Can wait until mine arrives, feels like Christams is coming early!! Overall very pleased with the glass display cabinet ordered, but the delivery process was disgraceful. We were never notified that the cabinet would be delivered on a pallet (as website indicates), making the weight of the unit 350 kilos. The courier delivered the display cabinet outside of our building and when asked to wait he drove off leaving a glass display cabinet outside in windy conditions. I ordered a glass display case only to find it was too small, it was entirely my mistake!. I follwed their returns proceedure while re ordering the correct size unit. I was phoned shortly afterwards by a very helpful lady making sure that a new case was required and not additional parts or components, I am really glad to find that customer care & service like this still exists. The range of products is extensive and prices are reasonable but, as a member of a voluntary organisation, the minimum order price caused me to rethink my order. In the end, I purchaed more items than actually required so as to get best value for money. I wanted a particular small display for my restaurant. When I got to checkout there was a note saying that an additional £7 is charged for orders below £25. I therefore ordered a second item which I do not really need at this time. I have never come across this minimum order charge with other companies and it has put me off using this company again. My stand cost £313 so I was disappointed that one of the screws did not fit into one of the holes required for assembly and that there were no spares in the packaging. There were a number of other minor faults in the form of occasional metal protrusions and size differences that meant not all the parts lined up exactly as they should have. We understand the inconvenience that has been caused regarding this unit; however we feel that we have acted in a fair and correct manner in order to bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
Although you requested a spare screw to be sent to rectify the problem, we needed to be certain that it was not an issue with the frame itself which is why we followed our Faulty Policy and offered to replace the frame and collect the faulty unit at the same time.

Though we have a lot of home users, the majority of our customers are businesses. Therefore we show our prices Ex VAT and clearly state this on every product page, knowing many of these customers will be claiming VAT back on their purchase.
<br/>To also ensure a delivery arrives safely and quickly with a customer, every order is sent by secure courier. Of course this is more expensive than postal charges but the very low amount of returns & delivery issues we deal with are testament to us choosing this delivery option.
<br/>
<br/>We also believe in being very clear and do not try to hide anything from our customers. So when a customer adds a product to their basket, we take them immediately to the basket page that clearly summarises the complete cost of their order including the estimated delivery cost, assuming the delivery is to a UK mainland destination.
<br/>
<br/>To ensure we can offer a single, straightforward delivery charge, which doesn't increase with the quantity or weight of products, we ask customers to spend over £15. Below this amount, we add a minimum order charge. Again, this is clearly shown on the basket page.
<br/>If a customer is happy with the cost of their order, they can proceed to checkout and register their contact & delivery details. The price of their order does not change from the basket page, unless their delivery address is not a UK mainland destination. Again, we are very clear about the delivery cost and customers have to approve this before moving ahead to pay.

<br/>We don't believe we can be any clearer on our site and don't believe it's in anyone's interest to hide anything or waste a customers time. As avid online shoppers ourselves, we believe that we are clearer and more up front with the cost of a customers order than many leading consumer websites.
