I have tried to redeem points only to be told that I have insufficient points. This is despite the email notifying me of the offer I wanted showing that I have well in excess of the required points. It's very easy to earn points from the site. I recently redeemed a £50 amazon voucher. It took a little longer than expected. Emailed them and within an hour I got the voucher code. I was a little sceptical at first, as it was my first redemption but they were brilliant. I really can't fault them. Definitely not a scam site, unlike some others I could mention. (read more)

These people send a lot of surveys for you to fill.I was therefore initially very happy with their service. Being a member with them for about 5 months and completeing each and every survey they sent me, I managed to collect enough points to buy myself a reward from their rewards category. I love being part of the Maximile 'family.' The website is great with quality parnters to check out. You're not flooded with endless email spams but most that I've received have been relevent and interesting.
You can quickly gain points to be spent on rewards by various means, clicking on email links, filling out polls, doing surveys, signing up to newsletters or registrations and buying goods.

An excellent site - it's fun getting a Maximiles email in my inbox and there are many pleasant surprises and lots of free points. I particularly like the surveys, which are often surprisingly generous. Even if you do not gain Maximiles points through shopping, you still build up points steadily and without really noticing it. I think the idea behind Maximiles is a good one. In a way it is something for nothing, it doesn't cost any more to go to a store via Maximiles.
My main problem is that I invariably forgot to go to stores via Maximiles and simply go direct to the website of the store I want to buy from.
In the past I have really only been prompted to go to stores via Maximiles because I have been able to cash in Maximiles points for vouchers to pay for my purchases in the store.

Mostly excellent but some surveys are very long for not many points (then frustrating to not qualify in the end)! You have to be quick to answer the surveys too, otherwise they're over! There are so many ways of earning maximiles that points mount up really quickly and the rewards are great. Definitely worthwhile but I have missed out by not always checking who is affiliated as there are so many partners now. All in all a great idea and I would certainly recommend. (read more)

Good site, links have introduced me to further good sites supermarket comparison etc.
Surveys aren't particularly rewarding, can spend a fair time and then told you dont qualify. Also sometimes can spend ages and get to the end & as points take some time to be awarded, lose track if they have been or not. Similar with competitions & registrations.

Point values hide the actual value of what you get for using their click throughs, which equate less than cash back sites. Rewards for surveys, which take a great deal of time to complete, hardly cover the electric costs used in doing them - that is, if they pay at all.

Maximiles is a good online rewards site with a wide range of offers and partners. I personally preferred the site when it was "Ipoints" as it is more relevant to what it offers the consumer - rewards points for participating in surveys and shopping online which can then be spent on things you want like gifts, CD's, DVDs and lots of other stuff. you get quite regular surveys and when you are doing normal shops online,
maybe ipoints has the website as one of thier partners , so you get points from there aswell.
Also i have ordered rewards about 5/6 times , they always come and any issues are dealt with quickly.

Cons, only one i wish they could reward abit more for the long surveys.

I've been with Maximiles/ipoints for over 3 years.It's a great way to collect rewards and it's possible to amass a lot without even spending any money by filling in surveys etc.It does sometimes take a long time for points to be credited and it's not always easy to get through to the right person to deal with it.All in all I still enjoy the experience. One frustration is when you commence a survey you can be screened out after a shoer period of time but I am not not sure how you can change this. Maybe a point should be added to you account. If you sign-up with a partner which offers points you do not know when those points are allocated to your account. An email message to confirm this would be a welcome addition. the site is good and points add up quickly, but I think that when you start a survey it is often several minutes before you find out that you are not in the qualifying group. I think Maximiles is a good thing.
Generally easy to collect points as long as you remember to visit the site before going to shop at one of the partners! Sometimes easy to forget.
Don't mind the surveys as many are interesting, but I do feel the rewards are less now than they have been in the past - fewer points awarded for longer surveys!

If they are not creited within 30 days, you can contact customer services, but they can take ages to respond, if at all, and you need to keep sending reminders. The one thing I would sat though is be prepared to have your e-mail inbox inubdated with random offers from lots of different companies! If you don't mind that sort of thing then go ahead, but my advice would be to set up a separate email naccount specifically for your maximiles account. I must have lost out on thousands of points.
Don't make the same mistake!
What I don't like about the site is when I am asked to complete a survey and just because I don't qualify for some reason, I don't get credited with points which I think is unfair, given that I was prepared to participate and have provided information which is no doubt sold on to some organisation.

Maximiles is a strange and to my mind an inappropriate name for what was once known as ipoints, but I understand that administrative changes were made that prompted the name change. Anyway, a regular number of emails are received from them giving 2, or sometimes more, free points for just looking at other sites. Then there are questionnaires for a more substansial number of point to reward you for your time and effort.

There are always genuine reward opportunities on a daily basis to keep the points ticking over. There are regular surveys which seldom screen you out and a variety of ongoing click rewards. There are also seasonal opportunities at Easter and Xmas to build up more points. The range of rewards on offer is better than most comparative sites and you do not have to expend months of effort to obtain something decent.

Only downsides:
Maximiles has many of the same partners as Nectar, which gives me conflicting interests.
Some of the spend points offers require a large number of points to obtain something you can buy cheaply elsewhere

I have been a member for a few years, Maxiles is a big improvement on old site of Mutual Points, quite easy to save Points and good rewards HOWEVER on they regularly miss Surveys you complete and unless you keep track you will not get the Points you are Due. They have very poor administration, seldom answer difficult emails, its a pain trying to chase them to award Points months after the event if they award them at all !

I like Maximiles as a survey company; they are a lot fairer than most. If I have a grouse, it is just that the points for their surveys take so long to be credited. Those of some of their partners take forever, or not credited at all! Surveys.com being one of the worst offenders!
