Discovered The Hostess Restaurant recently when friends booked it for a get together. I always thought it was just a Wedding Venue, which it is - but it is also a restaurant.
Traditional English food which tasted lovely. The veg tastes like fresh veg should. The beef melted in the mouth.
Four courses for about fourteen pounds. Great value and service for the money. With the added bonus of live music.
Great lady singer, and a great musician with her playing bongos, sax and piano. Not loud,... (read more)
