We booked with A1 for me my partner and 2 baby's to go majorca. Our last day we had reception phone us and say come down we went there for them to say lowcost holidays had gone into administration and we had to pay for the holiday again 2500 or they would call the police. They locked us in the hotel. I was very dissapointed,i paid in full for a holiday and then i got a ph call saying they couldnt do it for that price as the flights went up,only to fi d out my friend booked the same flights same day for what i had first paid i think its bad buissness not to up rade your website daily i could go into more deatail about ph calls but this review would take to long .a,so had to pay a £10 feeor paying by debit card very dissapointed wouldnt use the hotel again that they reccomennded… Read Full Review

This company gave me the wrong information which very nearly cost me booking another flight. Fortunately the airline was able to change my return flight for £50 instead of booking a complete new flight as advsed by this group of clowns. “Could not do enough for us!”

Having trawled the internet for deals I ended up calling the 0333 number on teletext website and spoke to a very helpful lady who gave me very competitive prices for 2 holidays. She wasn't pushy at all and gave me a direct line should I want to go ahead with one of the deals. I called back and this is where it got a little messy, but to be fair one of her colleagues was equally helpful with a further query I had. “Brilliant service”

Super friendly agent. Really understood what I was after. Was emailing quotes whilst I was still on the phone. I then changed my preferences and it wasn't a problem she just emailed me more. I rang her to gok through line of the prices and she did it even cheaper than quoted. Took all our passport details and checked us in. Asked for extras at the hotel without me requesting. Me and my friend booked a holiday with icelolly.com and rang up a1 travel about changing the name over. The manager on the phone the manager is a rude and talks to you in disrespectful way. She said that the whole situation was 'petty' and she was getting annoyed and if we didn't stop ringing them up over the name change she would block our numbers on the system. If you want an honest reliable service do not use a1 travel. Website allows you to go all the way through the booking process sends you a congratulations e mail on booking your holiday. But then comes a call telling you sorry the incorrect price was on the website and actually the price has gone up a few hundred pounds . And this is still happening today. They are also under the name of Bargain holidays online. com Had same price for two holidays one booked with A! and one with Bargain both went through. Website allows you to go all the way through the booking process sends you a congratulations e mail on booking your holiday. Then you get the email or phone call saying mistake and the flights are an extra £400 to malta on tope of the £772 already quoted. £1172 for a week in malta for four really miffed... Buyers beware avoid like the plague.

Gave an incorrect name when booking holiday for four people, I tried to change it with the agent,and was told to ring A1 administration after 9.am the next day.I explained the problem,i was told that it would cost £100 to change. Basically I found a holiday on icelolly.com so rang a1travel to book it, they told me all the rooms had gone in this hotel I wanted and no other rooms would be available but would book me into another run by the same company in the next town that was 10 minutes away...We agreed to this and our holiday was booked. 3 days later I looked on icelolly.com again and the hotel I originally wanted was on there and for a lower price than I was originally going to pay! Fantastic at first the adviser was brilliant in fact should be manager, Once all booked and sorted I then learnt from some other member of staff that I couldn't print off my boarding passes until 7 days before departure unless I paid £100 pound or 200 with return passes as ten people going, she informed me it was Ryanair and not them self's who charged, but this information would have been nice to know now before booking, we are now stuck getting are return flight boarding passes as we leave… Read Full Review
