“Awful, do not use”

£700 for a new laptop. Didn't use it for 4 weeks and then within 2 weeks of it being used it started crashing. Had to pay our IT guy twice to try fix it. Spent far too many hours and money uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, doing factory re-sets, doing software re-installs etc. Phoned customer services and they just wanted it back without giving a replacement so we said this wasn't acceptable so they said a manager would get in touch. Hermes couldn't delivery to my address due to I was away that week (trying to contact Hermes to delivery to my neighbour but they didn't want it). Then, the monitor has to come back to box.co.uk. Very poor customer service from box. They will happily take your money but when something goes wrong you are on your own. I brought a Seagate drive that failed after two months. I was told to take it to the store to get it replaced. Went out of my way to take it to the store where I was told I should have just gone to Seagate direct as that is all They would do so left with my faulty hard drive to return to Seagate which I could have done last week without wasting an entire morning. Box is an untrustworthy company. When my Cube PC broke they delayed for weeks, then told me lies and refused to fix it. Bought 2 new sets of Zyxel product and 2 CAT6 cables on 5th Jan 17. When we returned back from holiday on 9th Jan saw that one of the units of Zyxel product was not working. Immediately raised query with Box. Initially had to go through a complicated returns procedure for an item which arrived dead. Finally managed to return item on 18th Jan. We purchased a custom built pc in January 2016 to help with my children's studies of GCSE. The PC arrived with monitor, mouse and keyboard a few weeks later. Ordered 3 laptops. Only 1 was in full working order. Poor customer service. Box refused to replace. Nearly 6 weeks with 2 faulty devices. 1 device battery needs to be replaced which the manufactures are doing. The 2nd device had surface scrates and the lid doesn't line up. They have refused to replace. Its a company which sells 2nds for a slight discount and they don't care when the device doesn't even turn on. Had a very bad experience with this awful company. I would urge people to read lots of reviews. I wish I had. They are OK at putting things in boxes and despatching them. Any fool can do that. “Faulty product, refund issues - stay away!”

I ordered a PC, and the unit overheated and switched off (and restarted itself without blue screening) 4 -5 times the first weekend I received it. An employee also looked at it remotely and saw how hot it was running even with no programmes running. I was advised it was faulty and to return it.
