Arthur J. Arberry has taken good time in translating Holy Koran with the help of Egyptian Islamic Scholar and it's worth a read. Moreover, it is highly comprehensible to the British English audience. In order to have a flow in reading for better comprehension, you can also check 'The Koran Interpreted' by the same author. It has flow and is smooth to read.
