I brought an internet/landline package, which they claimed to be a business package allowing me highest priority. Titan telecom is by far the worst telephone provider/company ever!! particularly if your a business owner. My phone line was down for 4 days during the queens jubilee weekend last year and as they ONLY operate from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and closed over the bank holiday weekends they were completely useless to me as I was unable to reach them for 4 days!! just to get my business landline diverted to my mobile phone as I rely on 90% telephone orders to survive and to pay my staff. when I... Hi, anyone has an option to upgrade to care level 4 to give 24 hours a day and aim to repair within 6 hours, no matter whether you would of been with if you had basic level service even with BT open reach wouldnt come out on basic care level unitl next working day which would of been the wednesday at the earliest.

Your clearly deluded! have you not read all the bad reviews this Mickey Mouse company called Titan is receiving?!!! my complaint was on going for approximately 3 months and at no point these cretins ever mention upgrading to care level 4. This having exchanged numerous emails and engaged in regular phone conversations this was never mentioned so if true then it must be a new thing but the damage to my business was already done with loss of income, so do one!!

After receiving numerous calls to get me to take out free Internet for a months trial I agreed but then decided not to bother with it, have no router etc, so didnt even use it for a day let alone a mth, got my bill in they charged me for Internet which was supposed to be free they are now telling me I agreed to a years contract will be getting rid of them ASAP (read more)

“Awful Company. Complete Fraudsters”

I was advised by 2 different people that we were free to leave at any time because we had sent a letter in to terminate the contract and that there would be no fees. When I arranged to transfer I was advised that there would be a £1500 cancellation fee. The worst thing is that they have no notes on their system for the 2 conversations with contract enquiries yet they have all the other call notes and if they checked our bills they would see the calls made to them. “Would'nt recommend to my worst enemy!”

“Saved me so much money ”

I have 2 businesses which each have 1 line and a broadband supply. one shop was with XLN and the other with BT. my bills were coming in at extortionate prices so i switched to Titan Telecom at both shops. My bills have near enough halved at both shops i have now been with them for a year and the prices havent gone up once. the service is great and if there is a problem their customer service is fantastic! i can not rate this company enough they are fab! “Worst service provider - ever”

Titan telecom MAY be slightly cheaper but the service is terribel. Yes they answer calls & e-mails but this is where it ends. They do not do anything about the enquiry/problem. The staff are unknowledgable and the broadband service is appalling. My contract is up in February and I cannot wait to be rid. There is nothing positive to say about the service, not a single thing I can think of. Although you do not contact them every month, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. (read more)

be very careful as they appear to renew your contract without contacting you and then tie you in for an extended period and if you then move as one is entitled to they will try and hit you with an illicit £150 so called cancellation fee £150 divided by 12 will push up your monthly costs by at least £12.50 a month so think very carefully before signing up with them woud not recommend this particular company to anyone and am reporting them to the ofcom telecom body for investigation as... However on the sale of my business although i had given a three month notice at the expence an extra £10 a transaction for paying by cheque Titan threatened i would still be responsible for paying for both the above for another two years. I've had a Titan Telecom 2 business landlines since 27.07.2011. The contract signed on 07.03.2011 was for one year. At the end of that year I contacted them to say I want to leave them. They wrote me back asking for £300 Termination Fee. It appeared that they renewed my business landline contract for another year without as much as how do you do? and it came up that they need a 3-months notice if I did not want this automatic renewal to happen. Perhaps they were calling you to confirm that you were happy to go ahead with switching your service?? At least they are not one of those companies that do "slamming". You shouldn't have agreed to the switching over process, when you were aware of the slight botheration involved.

After investigation Titan are also a part of Unicom. i had a terrible experience with Unicom and these are doing the same.

I have been contacted by titan on numerous occasions, sometimes twice per day, despite repeatedly asking them to STOP CALLING ME. Today, I had another call, so I listened to the rubbish they speel. I then made it perfectly clear to (name removed) that I was not interested in their rubbish business but he refused to listen and wanted to pass me to his manager, When she came on she repeated the same rubbish and I told her plainly that I am not interested, I want my number removed from their contact list and if they call me again I will be seeking compensation for loss of business during the time they have tied up my line with their stupid calls. sdfarrell34, you are obviously one of them as with the drivel speeled by your company, no on believes your review.

A sales rep came into the shop I worked in and gave me the spill about what a wonderful company Titan was ect ect, I told him that I would have to call the owner which I did and it all sounded ok so we went ahead and changed our telephone line to Titan on a years contract. You were obviously on a "rolling contract" (now a thing of the past), whereby when your anniversary date came up each year you had a legal right to leave Titan Telecom free of charge, which you obviously didn't do. I would suggest you pay more attention to the small print in contracts.

Where do I begin with this crowd. I changed my business phone line from BT to Titan and added broadband, "no problem" they claimed. The phone line changed across ok, however the go live date for the broadband came and went without activation happening. I am having the same problem with Titan, what's the outcome of your court case because I want to opt out as they are the worst company ever. They are full of promises to start and it ends when your contract starts. They told me they were part of BT Openzone only to find out after the contract that they were NOT.

Been with Titan for three years. The line installed is faulty and titan refuse to sort it out. As a business customer locked into 12 month contact and gave the required 3 months notice Titan claimed our notice was ONE DAY short of 3 months so we were locked into further 12 months. I agree. The same thing has happened to our company. We transferred our telephone service to another provider and Titan won't even confirm that this has happened. I have written to them 4 times but they still haven't investigated with Open Reach or issued a final bill. I think they are doing this to generate more money. I had to cancel the direct debit for security reasons as they were just taking money out of the bank account for a service they weren't providing. Now they are charging me £10 each month as a fine for cancelling the direct debit. DO NOT TRANSFER YOUR BUSINESS TO TITAN TELECOM is the best advice anyone can ever give you. Everyone should be writing a letter of complaint to OFTEL regarding their bad experience so that something can be done about Titan. It's not just poor service, it's a breach of their licence if they are not recording or effectively responding to customer complaints. If you have sent your letter of cancellation 1st class post and the reason they received the letter 1 day late, is due to the fact that they received your letter on a Monday as they weren't open Sunday, then look into the First Class business post rules under law.

Warning - rolling contract or should I say rolling con trick. I was using this line for card machine payments - thanks a bunch Elavon for supplying me a machine that needed a separate line. I told Titan in December I did not need the line any more. They said we can cease it for £150 now or pay till end of June. The contract expires end of May. Worst mistake ever, was entering a contract with this company, I am paying a lot more than my previous supplier but also I can not access certain websites, such as Facebook etc, I am going to seek legal advice as I really need to cancel this contract asp ! ISP's do not block websites, if you are having problems accessing facebook then this is an issue to do with your computer or router, most likely you have a firewall blocking it.

AVOID! TITAN IS USELESS! This is the worst telephone company I have seen. Dreadful customer service, lies. They will start charging you extra fees randomly, you will have to phone up so many times to clear the problem and sometimes they will give a stupid reason. They have this stupid 'roll-over contract', you will need to inform them otherwise the contract runs for another year and they will charge you £150 for the cancellation. The only telecom company I know, where you are virtually locked in for life. You take a 1 yr contract, but you must cancel on that anniversary date, or it rolls on for another year, then again the following year and so on. The most one-sided contract I know, but this is not known by you. The sales assistant, will state its a rolling one year contract, but they dont state, it can only be cancelled on the anniversary date. Avoid at all costs. We switched from BT to Titan and ended up with no telephone for 3 weeks. They couldnt care less that our business was being affected so I told them we were going back to BT. They tried to charge us £150 for going back even though they offer a 30 day trial. I refused to pay at which point they started to bombard us with agressive phone calls demanding payment or they would remove our lines. They must think there is one born every minute. Total disaster on switching from BT to Titan. As a Business we were without our phones for just over 6 hours. Titan were not concerned one bit in loss of business. Blamed Open Reach for the problem and even tried to blame BT. At 17:15 I realised they had not set my call divert back up and yet again I had to call them to be told Open Reach had not reistated it. Would not recommend anyone to change over from BT. At least I was safe in the fact I had business lines coming in. (read more)

Do not use Titan telecom if you do not have BT lines already installed. They messed up my installation so badly and the very poor level of communication when it all went wrong was worse than BT (and that's pretty poor). No apology for their mess. No compensation for their failings. I will be switching to someone else as soon as the one year contract allows. AVOID. (read more)
