Amazingly quick service.
Wanted an all-in-one PC found your website and checked availability of selected item and cost,very competitive and free delivery clinched it for us.Ordered at midday on the 1st Feb and was here next afternoon, we wern't in but delivery guy left it with our neighbours. Useful texts confirming order etc on mobile. Still coming to terms with facilities on PC and windows7. Only problem so far is with the Lenovo usb2.0 UVC camera wont load from vmcap,any clues? Otherwise an excellent product, hope we are not being too optimistic.

I was looking for a new laptop, nothing pricey, so did some research and found some decent reviews on the Toshiba. Saveonlaptops.co.uk was the cheapest by quite a distance. Reviews of saveonlaptops were ok, so decided to order. Ordered online on a Friday, received an email (and a text) within an hour to say the order was being processed. That evening received an email (and again, a text) to say the laptop was being delivered on the Monday (it does say up to 5 working days). On the courier website you can track the order and they also give you a 1 hour slot for delievery. It arrived on time! Good service from all concerned. Would recommend to anyone as my experience has been fantastic.

Good value extended warranty
Ordered a Samsung Fastguard Collect & Return warranty for my Samsung RV511. Half price warranty - very good value. Delivery a tad expensive at £7.95, but delivered within two working days, so good service. Activation of warranty a bit convoluted - but that is the fault of Samsung, not the retailer.

poor return contact
Picture of product "i'm sorry we just use stock photos" did not correspond to the item when actually delivered. The B530 i5 I bought did not actually allow the input of _any_ external device such as xbox which makes for a small and fairly useless telly even though it was a good enough computer.
When I complained saying that it did not match the description the (only) person who can do returns (when they are there and feel like talking to you - I guess it says something when the returns manager is rushed off their feet) said that because I had taken it out of the box and turned it on before I noticed that it did not have AV ports I had "accepted" it and can only return it if I pay £50 plus return postage.
I also had problems with the delivery, I called up on Friday morning asking whether if I ordered now it would arrive on Saturday if I paid for saturday delivery. Yes. Well, part of it did. Part of it arrived on Monday. "oops" sorry, we must have put the wrong sticker on. Terrible.
All in all a terrible customer experience. Where I do not feel that I got what I wanted at any stage and have had a number of difficult conversations.

Horrible experience
I ordered a laptop on Wednesday 15th and paid for a fast delivery. I had to call them to solve an "issue" I ve just entered a different adress than my billing adress for the delivery. Thirsday 16th, received an email "there is an issue with your order" same problem than yesterday. I had to call them again and after 5 calls(nobody available for 5 min everytime), I had to explain the same thing again. Friday 17th waiting for my laptop, got an email saying that my order is on the way. Wrong adress back to the sender. I called on friday to change the adress and to rebook a delivery on Monday. We are monday laptop sent to the same adress again, really upset, service useless, ask for the refund and waiting for it. I will not advice this website to anyone!

Upgrading from old PC
We wanted to upgrade our old Pc so went and looked around the shops and decided we would like an all in one PC to save on space, cables trailing etc but couldn't find what we liked with the spec we wanted.
After trawling through the internet, we can across Save on Laptops
and found a great choice of machines with a good explanation of features and at a reasonable cost.
We settled on a Toshiba Qosimio All in One Touch Screen Pc with loads of memory, Windows 7, full HD, Bluetooth, TV input, Wifi etc. We ordered on a Saturday evening and the machine was delivered on the following Tuesday - great service.
The Pc is all that we wanted with the best bit being able to use it in the sitting room with no cables (just the power cable)cluttering up the place.
We would definately recommend Save on Laptops and this PC to anyone especially as we found their costs were cheaper than elsewhere. The delivery charge is very reasonable as well.

The laptop I wanted was cheapest on this site and came with a massive 8GB of RAM as well as a good 500GB of hard drive space. The order process was simple, I chose the 'up to 5 day' delivery option and the laptop arrived the very next day so I'm extremely pleased with the order processing time. This computer was at this price in a very large "competitors" store only because it was the last remaining display model. I found Save On Laptops had this All in One computer brand new boxed & in stock for the same money. Had researched the item & new this was the one I wanted.

Excellent 14inch laptop, plays native 1080p videos file straight out of the camcorder without a single stutter - the model from 'saveonlaptops' comes with 4GB RAM, whereas some other suppliers are only 3GB. If I were to nit-pick the screen colour is slightly washed out but don't let this put you off, for the price it's a bargain. Looks good, slim screen and nice keyboard.

What can I say?! Found the website via Google and read reviews on the company and the laptop I had in mind (Lenovo G770 with 8GB RAM, 750GB hard drive and Intel i5) and took the plunge. Very glad I did. Kept up to date all the way with progress on the order and had it in my grubby little hands within 24 hours. Bargain price and great service. Laptop is amazing and my IT friends have all been amazed at the value and quality of the Lenovo, beat a couple of high spec desktops in their performance tests too. Shame about Lenovos own software being installed, but takes not time to remove before you create your system backup disks. Highly recommend Save on Laptops and Lenovo. Very pleased. Hopefully will never have to use the bargain priced extended warranty cover either.

I was sent a link to your website by an IT consultant working for my girlfriend's business. i bought her the laptop for a valentine gift.
despite chosing free delivery, the laptop was despatched promptly and arrived just a couple of days after ordering! This is exceptional service.
My only slight gripe is the very busy call center with the long queue.
I had specified a different address for delivery, and your operators sent me a text requesting I call to clarify the reason for this.
I understand and appreciate the security concerns, but had to call several times and hold for a good ten minutes in order to speak to an operator.

Well from start to finish "amazing" , if only every online transaction was as good as this one....
I ordered my laptop 2pm on monday 6th feb, i opted for free delivery service, so was expecting it withing 5days, OH NO, i got it next day 2.30pm. What more can a customer ask for?? The communications/emails/txt messages were A1. I got 3 emails from "SaveOnLaptops" then a text also. Then an email from DPD delivery serv to say Laptop was coming next day and with a time slot.
The laptop is brilliant, works like a dream, none of all the rubbish bumff on it, like most, just windows 7 and a trial version of norton. Started up and within 20mins windows had installed, i just left it alone for a good 30mins to get all important updates and , i'm chuffed to bits with it. I was days trying to buy a cheap netbook but every other site that claimed to have them, when you actually looked they were out of stock and wanted to suggest other alternatives. Absolutely fantastic website for buying laptops. Laptop was very reasonably priced (much cheaper than anywhere else on the internet) and although I paid for 4-day delivery, it arrived within 2 working days. The laptop was brilliantly packaged, including a security seal. The only thing that could make Save On Laptops even better would be free delivery. When you're paying in the region of £700 for a product it would be nice to get free delivery. Saying that, I'd definitely use Save On Laptops again.

Impressive experience
I thoroughly researched companies selling the HP G7-1255sa laptop and apart from one online seller that seemed decidedly dodgy Save on Laptops were the most competitive. I completed my purchase and chose the 3 to 5 day delivery option. The next day I received both email and text from Save on Laptops asking me to contact them urgently. Fearing the worst I phoned them and was informed that they had a laptop for immediate dispatch and it would arrive the next day. Purchase of an HP probook 4530s laptop.
"satisfactory purchase experience"
I use "satisfactory" in the old fashioned sense of the term meaning I found nothing wrong or to grumble about. That I bought from SaveonLaptops is a tribute to their advertising - a friend of mine handed me an ad from a magazine - and their business model which addressed my needs precisely.
A question, technically quite complicated, asked before I purchased the m/c was answered within 24 hours accurately.
The HP deal (buy back of old computer) was effectively communicated.
The 1.5% surcharge for using a credit card seemed harsh but one was told about it early enough to review pricing options with other suppliers.
Speed of delivery is astonishing - ordered Wednesday late evening, arrived 9.00am Friday. I was prepared to pay for this but not the 1.5% surcharge, both amounted to £10 each.
The website is really good I think, as is that of DABS, whom I nearly bought it from, but their buy back deal was not as good as the one offered by saveonlaptops via HP.
Having said all that nice stuff, this review site is awful....if you press preview you can see what you've written, if you want to edit it you have to press the edit button, at which point it deletes the whole script. Not helpful at all.

Good price but will wash their hands if things go wrong...
Good price but did not like the credit card charge.
Delivery by City link was next day but late and only after calls to depot to ask why it had been returned to the depot without attempting delivery.
When it went wrong within 4 months (requiring new motherboard) they washed their hands completely and I had to return it at my expense to the manufacturer for repair (who admittedly were good). This is contrary to the Sale of Goods Act and my statutary rights - I suspect they know this, most people don't complain and it saves them a few quid... AVOID!

Visa Card charged and then order canceled
I have purchased a very expensive Asus Gaming laptop. The order was meant for UK delivery. .My account has shown that the order was paid and a mail was received confirming the order. The next day I have received a mail asking to call Customer Service . The operator informed me that the order was canceled because it was paid with a non-UK Credit Card. Problem 1: the amount of 1,800 GBP is actually taken from my non-UK Credit Card! Problem 2: no-where in the website it says that only UK based form of payment are accepted. I hope that the money will actually be sent back, at least this is what the Customer Service operator told me!

after checking out reviews over the internet. i decided to go with save on laptops. yes i could of bought my laptop cheaper from another online retailer but their reviews were shocking. whereas save on laptops were brilliant. i spoke to a guy called Paul at save on laptops and he assured me that the laptop i was purchasing was brand new. he also told me if i ordered before 4pm my laptop would be delivered next day. sure enough i purchased my laptop. i received a text and email with the purchase and tracking details. and they kept me up to date even gave me a time on delivery between 11.30am - 12.30am and was suprised when at 11.35am the very next day. all i can say is i am a very satisfied customer and would happily recomend save on laptops to anyone. keep up the good work save on laptops.

Excellent laptops
This is the first time I have left a review, even though I bought a laptop from them approx 1 year ago. I have had no problems with either laptop and their prices are unbeatable. The laptops where ready on time, I collected it from them as I live in Birmingham anyway. The staff are always ready to help and give excellent advice. I would recommend this company if you are looking for a laptop,as I can't fault them.
