“Everything was done to a very high professional standard”

We chose Ionian Weddings because the fact that everything was taken care of in a "package deal" eliminated all of the stress of organising everything ourselves. Thank you to everyone at Ionian weddings, our day was every bit as perfect as we could have ever imagined. St Stefanos island is beautiful and the boat ride over to get married is better than anything you can do at home. Wow! What an amazing day from the day we booked to the day of the wedding we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Grace was very helpful in helping us to choose a venue, sending us lots of pictures and info. We were kept informed all the time through emails and never had to worry about anything. Just got home from my lovely Greek wedding in Zakynthos and I am so gutted to have left all those wonderful memories behind! I don't know where to start with my praise for Ionian Weddings.From start to finish they were amazing. From the beginning with recommending venues for us through all the emails I sent them being answered quickly to their friendly staff who have become my friends now and finally to the day itself which was perfection. I have just returned from my wedding in Cyprus. It was like a dream, the best day of my life. I cannot praise Ionian Weddings highly enough, from day one they have been with me every step of the way. Nothing I asked was too much for them and they were always quick to reply. Everything was prepared and booked for me, all I had to do was turn up. “Ionian Weddings Warning”

This review should serve as a warning to anyone considering using Ionian weddings. A wedding planner should offset their fee with savings they make through their established list of wedding suppliers. Not so with Ionian Weddings. After agreeing prices and paying a deposit, Ionian weddings tried to increase supplier prices by at least £1,500 (10 extra on drinks, 30 on tables, 3 on each chair, 10 on food)(all increases per head) We were told not to speak to suppliers because it caused... I wasted 400 euros deposit on Ionion weddings, i would not put any trust into them unless you are willing to pay over the price for everything! i cancelled after losing all trust in them. I could go into every detail of what happened but i'm not going to waste anymore time & energy on the awful company All i can say is don't book with them its not worth the stress. (read more)

Our wedding was a fantastic experience and we couldn't have asked for more. Everything was taken care of and nothing was too much trouble. We cannot thank you enough for making our day so special. The cake, flowers, venues, everything was perfect and your coordinators in Kos were superb and so friendly. We were married on the island of Meganissi in June 2010 and Ionian Weddings arranged absolutely everything from the wedding and reception venue down to the button hole for the groom... It was fantastic! We currently live in Kuwait and had to liase with Ionian Weddings purely by email, I felt a million miles away and not in control at all but Ionian Weddings were brilliant. We recently got married in Santorini Greece with Ionian Weddings. They were superb througout the process and did not rip us off with prices. To get married in the UK would have cost us at least 20,000 for the service we got in Greece, all in with our honeymoon and spending money cost us less than half! I used Ionian Weddings for my wedding in Santorini and I couldn't fault them. Nothing was too much trouble. I was a bit of a bridezilla and was constantly emailing them but they always replied quickly to all my emails, even when I asked silly questions!
