Very misleading advertising, shoddy poor packaging, free stickers unusable. Got the impression they just want your money. Do not order from here!

“Terrible customer services”

I have made a recent purchase from skates of a skateboard and a skate board/scooter helmet. It clearly states on their website and showed a picture of a Free sticker pack promotion you got with the items. When it arrived we were disappointed to see some stickers but not the ones advertised. They added in 3 I love skates sticker instead of a sheet of brand and pictures stickers. I got in touch and the my came back and said “as far as they can tell” I needed to order scooter products to get them. Great when a company doesn’t even know how a customer promotion works. So I went back with images from their own site and explained a) the site isn’t that clear and makes it look like it’s for all purchases not just scooter related and b) I had made a scooter product related purchase. A week later and still no response. I believe this company is quick to grab the money but when it comes to morals and integrity they fall short. This may be a dispute over stickers but from a customer service point of view picture the way this company dealt with my request/problem and imagine how would they managed yours or your warranty claims etc. Very poor show skates. First and last time buying anything from you guys.

“charged for the box”

i've bought a scooter for my son, was too big for him and i’ve decided to return it ( not in the same box that it was delivered,which was just a normal unbranded box). the cost was 38£,after nearly a month i’ve received a partial return of 20£ because i didn’t sent it in the same box. so they decided to charge me 18£ for the box?? this is unacceptable and unprofessional! i won’t buy from them again!

“Sad”

2nd time using 1st time order was lost and had too wait 4 days for a refund this time website showed in stock ordered and paid for 36 hours later told sorry out of stock and would have to reorder a different item or apply for a refund then told refund could take 4 days a total joke no apologies just excuses

I ordered an item but has never been delivered. Customer service ( if you call them customer service ) dont do a lot. They just argue with you and instead of trucking the item, they expect you to call the delivery company and deal with it. I would give 0 out of 10. If you value your money go and find another seller..!!!!!

“Faulty Scooter, no refund and no replacement”

Ordered a scooter 27th May called to say Micro Scooter was faulty, was told I had to email a photo of the fault, took 7 days for a reply. Scooter was collected and have been told scooters are checked on a first come basis and have been told will be checked in due course. Customer service appalling, emails rude. Have had to go through my bank to claim back my money and order another scooter from Micro Scooter, 7 weeks and still waiting. DO NOT order from this company.

“Skates.co.uk - Don't touch them with a barge pole”

I ordered with Skates.co.uk in Jan 2014 for a scooter that was due for dispatch in March. On the date of delivery we had an email claiming that they had an issue with the suppliers and could not now delivery the scooter. I then attempted to contact Skates.co.uk on the phone number displayed on their website. This number rang several times prior to an answer phone picking up. This happened on a number of occasions. Once I finally got through to someone they explained that I would need to select a different type of scooter. I therefore chose the Lucky Crew 2014 in White/Black. The scooter arrived a few days later and all seemed good. 2 weeks passed then the scooter developed a fault with the bearings. I therefore returned the scooter for repair. 3 weeks passed with no phone calls or scooter. Again I tried several times to phone them with just an answer phone machine.Message after message was left with no returned phone call. I then finally got hold of them and was promised 100% that the scooter was in transit for next day delivery. No scooter arrived the next day so again phone call after phone call was made with no reply. Message after message was left and still no one returned my calls. I finally managed to speak to someone who said the scooter was still in the warehouse having never been returned. I then got to speak with the manager who could only apologise for the inconvenience. I have since received a FULL refund. I'm now desperately searching the internet for another Lucky Scooter. **WARNING Avoid SKATES.Co.UK at all costs**

“Very poor service”

Please note you cannot contact this company by phone as it is an answer machine at all times that does not contact you back. They have not responded to my emails. I spent £250 on Scooters at Christmas and the wheel is broken off one within 3 weeks. I have been trying to get in touch since Feb 2 and they deny receiving my emails. I have an upset son, it looks like I will have to get the local bike shop to repair the Grit Tremor stunt scooter and I am out of pocket. Not good service. Do not shop with people who have an answer phone that sounds like a 12 year old surfer "dude" at the end of the phone. I think it sums up their service. Please buy elsewhere and you will have no problems if the item goes wrong. Yes very easy and great to buy from when you are giving them your money but after service is non existent. Had I known I would never be able to speak to someone on a phone at Skates, I would never have bought from here.

“Things shown as in stock are out of stock”

I ordered a scooter for christmas for my son, which was supposed to be delivered the next day. Two days later, I got an email that said it was actually out of stock and that they expected to have the item in three more days. Foolishly, I waited, and when I finally did ring to find out why it didn't turn up again, I was told a story about someone emailing me to advise on further delays. I was placed on hold whilst someone went to check. After 20 minutes waiting, I hung up and rang again to be told that they phone line dropped (mine was still on just fine) and that they credited my card. This was an abysmal customer service job in the weeks just before christmas - I would never do business with this company again.

“Didn't turn up ”

I payed £10 for Saturday delivery . This company failed to deliver the product until Monday and by then it was too late as the product was required for the Sunday for a birthday present . Postage refunded but no offer to compensate even though they must be able to claim from the delivery company for failure to deliver .48 hours late is not good enough !

“Damaged!”

I have just opened this product to build for my daughters 3rd birthday on Tuesday. Although I ordered this product some time again, silly me assumed it woul be fine! The handle bar grips have tears in them and the black bits at the end are scuffed. This scooter looks like it is second hand when I am only just taking it out of the box! I cannot fault the service as was delivered quickly but the product it's self is awful! I am going to have one very disappointed little girl on her birthday. Not sure if this is how they all come or just the one I got! Not impressed at all.

“What a let down !”

Terrible service ! I ordered 2 items from these people on Friday morning and payed £10 for a Saturday delivery as the items were for a birthday present on the Sunday .I started to get a little nervous at around 3.15pm on the Saturday as nothing had turned up .I sent several emails and its now 10.20pm on the Saturday and guess what ! nothing turned up ! They should be ashamed of themselves !!!

“Item still not delivered!”

I can't review my product as I still haven't received it But Customer service is absolutely shocking!! I ordered a scooter which was £120 on 16 aug 4 days later I was notified of an extra delivery charge which I payed 2 days later on 29 aug I emailed enquiring as to when I should expect my order they replied whit the same email implying I hadn't paid the extra delivery and when I notified then of the payment made 8 days ago the replied "sorry your item will be dispatched" when I emailed that this wasn't good enough as i felt they were never going to ship my order until I brought it to there attention the only reply I got was that they don't no why my order wasn't shipped over a week ago it's just human error they told me. I am so disappointed I will never use them again and I would certainly not recommend them to anyone.

I ordered a scooter and was told in 1-2 days It would arrive. Two weeks later I still hadn't Received or heard from this company. They said the scooter was unable to be tracked And lost during shipping. They notified me That particular scooter was sold out and not In stalk. My son was upset. They offered to send A upgraded scooter at no extra cost. I ordered That to be notified yet again that was sold out. Poor customer skills and lack of Product knowledge is terrible.

“Dissatisfied on order”

Was not happy with delivery of my order, did not recieve my full order and paid $73 in other taxes to recieve order, next time I shall review everything very carefully. I think the orders should be souble checked to make sure all is being shipped out. States on site free shipping with orders over a certain amount, hmmm cost me $73 :-( and still waiting for some of my order :-(

Skate parts are fine but customer services is appalling. If you want to be spoken to rudely, called a liar then have the phone slammed down on you then this is the site to use.
