When I asked how much plus was clear on what I wanted and how much that would be... I got a price that was acceptable. Only as you are setting up to be stopped and asked for more money. Games companies play are not real good for trust. Now the trust has been broken… Read Full Review

“Michael was great but my problem still has not been fixed.”

5 stars for Michael, the tech support person I spoke to. He explained everything clearly and walked me through each step. 2 stars for InMotion Hosting. My problem (website is down and no email) is still not fixed. "This has been isolated to sites on your server only". Well, change the #$%^& server!I cannot see any emails, and cannot respond to any emails. I also cannot send any emails. This is my business email account. Very frustrating!… Read Full Review

“web site down”

My web site was down. I was asked twice during chat to wait "5 to 7 minutes." That's an eternity in Internet time. Too long for a chat. I figure the support person must be juggling several chats at the same time. My web site came back up during one of the waits. But this isn't brain surgery. The chatter at the other end should not need seven minutes to tell me that there is trouble with the server and that "we are working on it."… Read Full Review

“When it comes down to it, they just don't care”

The server stopped refreshing the logs 2 weeks ago, not just for our site, but for everyone on that server. I have been contacting tech support about it off and on during these 2 weeks, and I just can't get anyone to care enough to fix it. They just don't think it's important enough. The best response I got was something like: "Just use Google Analytics and be done with it". So I gave up. Oh, they do say all the right things, how sorry they are, and how much they care. “Their shared webhosting sucks”

I am their customer for over 4 years. I subscribed the shared service with them. The 1st they provided a very good service, no server downs no account suspension for nothing but now I am having server alert system and every week it just goes down for 1 hour for now reason. Every month my account just gets suspended for no reason they always invent the excuse that my WP plugins are using lot CPU resources and stuff like that. “Good service, kinda meh hosting”

If you want to host a site with a lot of dynamic PHP stuff, InMotion's basic hosting service is not going to be right for you: expect to have to pay for a VPS server, or else to have your site taken down repeatedly for using too many system resources.
