I was lucky enough to have the Vax Rapide Ultra 2 W90RU carpet cleaner recently, which also picks up spills. A frozen pipe burst in the house and this machine picked up 90% of the water from the carpet involved. I really liked the accessories included, i.e the pre-treatment wand which worked amazingly well on even old marks/stains. The upholstery tool also worked very well on my settee and armchairs. Vax Rapide W-90 RUB. Bought in January 2011, broken after 1st use just dispensed the cleaning liquid very fast very wet carpet. Not allowed to return to argos you have to ring the expensive contact number. Returned having waited all day for collection. Was repaired quickly and returned. Didnt work fault not fixed so soaking wet carpet for the second time. Rang again not allowed refund or exchange its up to the engineer to decide if he can repair. Good cleaner with nice design. A bit clunky when moving around, particularly up and down the stairs. Where this cleaner did very well is with getting out pet odours and hair. Even though the carpets had been professionally cleaned the Vax still got out plenty more. The shampoo leaves a nice smell too. Little bit pricey if your paying ful price but I got mine on sale - so overall very happy. (read more)

The day after my new vax arrived, the dog decided to be sick - disgusting green vomit on my pale cream bedroom carpet. Talk about good timing.
The machine came well packaged. The handle was easy to attach and within minutes it was ready to use. I measured out the detergent (you get a bottle included) and filled the tank. Well I tried this machine out thinking my carpets weren't that dirty, they still looked relatively clean after two years of various food/drink spillages and many craft accidents (among other things lol) from three young boys I was rather proud that my beige carpets were still beige.

I recently acquired a Vax W90-RU-B Rapide Ultra Carpet Cleaner and I cannot believe how easy and straightforward it was to use and set up.
The cleaner was easy to use, came with a bottle of shampoo and was being used within 5 minutes of me opening the box!
The only downside it is heavy but I was able to move it around easily if it took me a little time to climb up/down the stairs.

Quite easy to put together although a diagram of how the hoses connected would have been helpful.
Easy to fill and use: just press a trigger walking forward and release when pulling it back. Cleaned a much used cream rug surprisingly well; found it best to go over the area a few times and the result was only really evident when it was dry. The amount of dirty water left in the tank showed that to get carpets clean, you really do need to wash as well as vacuum.

After hiring carpet cleaners in the past, normally at least once a year to clean the carpets I always thought that home use ones would not be as good or easy to use. After getting the VAX W90-RU-B Rapide Ultra cleaner I was amazed how easy it was to setup.

Two words so simple. I was completely amazed how simple this vax was to use. Both the cleaner tank and the dirty water tank are easy to remove fill and empty. Carrying the cleaner upstairs was no problem as it has a wide grip on the front body below the handle which gives a good secure grip enabling you to carry it effortlessly. It takes up no more room than an ordinary vacuum cleaner.

We have a beige carpet in our home and there were some stains on it and I have to say that after the first use with this carpet cleaner the stains disappeared. It is quite easy to assemble and dismantle and easy to emptying the dirty water tank.

A fantastic product, truly excellent value for money.
With three little girls, as you might expect, accidents; food spills, craft and painting 'projects' and the like tend to take their toll on upholstered dining chairs and the surrounding carpets. Likewise, the midnight sickness bout that didn't quite make it to the loo in time can leave (despite your best effort with localised cleaning) noticable marks on carpets from bedroom, landing and bathroom.

I received my new VAX W90-RU-B I had previously owned the VAX V-125 All Terrain Upright Carpet Washer and from unboxing the VAX W90-RU-B I could tell there had been a number of improvements from that model.
Having a accident prone wife, a small dog and young baby sometimes accidents can happen things get knocked over, mud bought in and dirty paws!
Unboxing is straight forward the VAX is safely packed and comes with a hose hand attachment along with a bottle of VAX ultra carpet cleaner....

This is an excellent carpet cleaner. Easy to follow instructions and easy to use. I would recommend you read the instruction manual thoroughly to avoid any misuse.

Vax Rapide Ultra W90-RU-B - This is an excellent carpet cleaner that does exactly what it says it should.
Assembley is easy to do - although the instruction leaflet provided is for this model and the pre-treated model too and can be a little confusing - but only took 5 minutes to get together.

I received this product last week (Vax Rapide Ultra 2) and as I have been busy lately I waited till the weekend just gone, to try it out. I thought It would be really difficult to put the thing together, but to my amazement It was so easy. All I had to do Is remove a pin at the neck of the hoover, then insert the handle and finally replace the pin. This keeps the handle of the hoover nice and snug. I found this review very helpful because... It explained In easy to understand terms the pro's and cons of this hoover, even though by the sound of it he didn't have any con's !!
