Amazing book, I've read it many times. Antony De Mello speaks with a very high level of clarity. It's a pity some christians are offended by it but that's just because they dont understand it. This is what Jesus meant and he was misinterpreted.

This is wonderful self-help/heal/wake up book. If someone can really understand this book, they will be free of anger, disappointments, or frustration. I recommend this book to everybody no matter the age or profession.

Anthony De Mello, Awareness - When I first read this book, I loved it.
I thought it was the best thing ever written. Afterwards I started reading the Bible, and most of the principles I came across were in remarkable contradiction with DeMellos ideas.
The more I read, the more confused I was with De Mello's writings, until to the point I had to read it again.
Conclusion: A. DeM ello may have been a priest, but his mind was in the deceit of this world.
