The hob itself is great, and when working, is ultrafast at heating up. It does make a humming noise when all 4 elements are on, but it's not too distracting. “Poor product, terrible aftercare”

Written on: 29/09/2011 by Andy_Worthing

I purchased 6 Hotpoint units when refitting my kitched in July 2011. Both the Openspace oven and Induction hob became faulty within 2 months. They look great and would be easy to use, if they worked. The Hotpoint after care is apalling and despite 5 calls from various engineers the Induction hob still does not work at all. Hotpoint appear to be diliberately making resolving the issue as difficult as possible. Hotpoints after care is worse than their product. (read more)

“INDUCTION IS SO QUICK AND ENERGY EFFICIENT (ONLY HEATS...”

INDUCTION IS SO QUICK AND ENERGY EFFICIENT (ONLY HEATS WHEN THE PAN IS PUT ON )AND HEAT SOON DISAPATES SO LITTLE CHANCE OF GETTING BURNT.
THE HOTPOINT IS STYLISH, EASY TO CLEAN AND LOOKS GOOD SET INTO WORKTOP.
ONLY SLIGHT DRAWBACK IS THE PANS MUST BE MAGNETIC BUT THE COST WILL BE RECOVERED BY SAVINGS ON ELECTRICITY. (read more)
