I got an iPod Touch second generation two years ago off ebay. I have enjoyed it ever since I unboxed it. If you are looking at getting this for family and friends, parents this a God-send. You can add restrictions by removing the included apps YouTube and Saffari, the internet explorer app. You can also set the ratig limmit on store bought apps and games, preventing your child from getting inopropriet apps. I really like how can enjoy the latest games and apps without having to get the... (read more)

the product is ok and its thin but it works very slowly and the screen is too small for web browsing but as i say the device is good i would recommend it to apple fans.
I liked the design and how thin it was i also liked all the features on ios like game center, calculator, internet and all of the apps on the app store. I didn't like the small screen and the fact that there wasent any camera.
i would of liked to know what processor and what type of screen it had before i purchased it. I...

Very good multimedia device.
I had been saving up for this for ages and i can say, its been well worth the wait.
good points:
1.Very easy to use, it doesn't even come with instructions!
2.brilliant music player and very easy (but pricey) music downloads from iTunes.
3.brilliant web browsing for a portable device.
4.calender is very useful and is updatable through your PC and on the ipod.
bad points:
1.You HAVE to buy a protective case otherwise your beloved Ipod will be scratched beyond...

I purchased this for my wife and so far she has not seen any issues. The only don fall is that the sound volume is not that high. Since updated to the new iOS4, web browsing is very slow and the system freezes at time. (read more)

My Ipod Touch broke within a month and 11 days... I cannot get money back for the apps, movies or music I purchased. The music just stopped playing one day and never worked again, I called Apple Inc. and was told I would have to pay for it to be fixed. =| I was warned about how fragile they are so I made sure I was sooo cautious with it, but it still didn't make the slightest difference and broke anyway!?! DON'T even bother buying an Ipod.. WASTE of time, money and energy!!!! (read more)

Who would have thought, that for £150 a device could be bought with built in wi-fi, thousands of free apps, the best mp3 player around, looks great, easy and usable interface. Buy this and any old phone that can dial and txt and you will be as happy as I am with it. (read more)

My brother gifted me Ipod Touch 16GB when he came from Dubai, that is where he works. It is a pleasure using up this ipod. It looks amazing. And the music is astonishing. It gives the best sound through ear phones. The 16 GB memory with which it comes is even more amazing. You can watch several movies. I have got many movies in it and the display is so proper and accurate that you will never feel like wathing it in a small screen. Other features in it are Touch pad, Email, Weather forecaster... .I received my itouch as a christmas present last year and can honestly report that it is one of the most enjoyable pieces of portable entertainment that I have ever owned. With the new function of being able to download movies, apps and podcasts directly to the itouch, (without loading them onto your computer first)where there is a wifi setup, it makes the itouch the complete portable entertainment gadget available today.
I truthfully can't find anything wrong with the itouch, so if you...

I love my iPod!
I couldn't survive without it - it's got my music, photo's and lots of my stuff on it! I love the Facebook app - I couldn't live without that regular updates! It's bad to go on the internet when you need it for a long amount of time but if you just need to look up stuff it's amazing!
The best thing you could ever buy -
Improvements could be a camera, though that could cost alot and there's not alot else you could do that won't make it into an iPhone apart from adding a...

This is my second iPod as I have owned a Nano. Compared to the Nano the iPod Touch has much more benefits from internet, Apps, wifi and more music and video hours. Although the new model version of the Touch hasn't got a built in camera like the Nano which has one, the Touch is much more funner than the Nano with its accellorometer which you can twist the device to cover flow mode whilst playing your music and with its famous widescreen touchscreen screen which there are no buttons except of... The ipod touch is basically one of the best items that have been made. It can do virtually anything , except from ring people or text people. The is similar to the Iphone , you can search the net play games listen to tunes and watch films. Ovbiously its cheaper than an Iphone because it does not ring people. The thing i would of liked to know before i made the purchase was , what can this device do for me and help my life, i discovered that and it helps me alot. If we go on a trip to... (read more)

The Apple iPod Touch 16GB is Slick and Smooth Technology, A real market leader in the Media player genre
surpasses other brands, interesting applications and software, a world of accessories!
Unreliable bluetooth interaction, Itunes management only, smaller storage than competitors at same price range.
After being a firm believer in "under dog" IT products, and always avoiding Apple due to pricing, I was finally ensnared by the 2nd Generation Ipod touch range, I opted for a 16gb model, and...

Came to the ipod range late in life but needed something to replace my aging (but excellent) Palm and a fiddly poorly constructed Creative MP3. My son recommended ipod touch as it had all I needed. Settled for 8GB and have had lots of fun and use out of it. Love the fact that I can check emails, watch music YouTube videos, keep my calender, contacts and notes up to date. And it feels good - screen is very clear. Not good for too much typing with my stubby fingers. One big drawback is there... (read more)

Best Media Player I've ever bought. Simple interface, fun to use, it's also an object of beauty. It looks great, feels sleek and is comfortable when holding.
Good Points
Easy to use.
Millions of downloadable games & applications.
Sleek.
Bad Points
Fragile, drop it and say goodbye to the touch screen.
Definitely and must get :D

I've had the Apple ipod touch for 7 months now, and use it regularly, almost on a daily basis. It's a fantastic gadget. I call it a gadget as it does so much more than just being an MP3 player.
I have the 8gb version which has ample memory storage for what i need. Music playback quality is excellent. I even watch movies, and the playback again is fantastic. The user interface is great, very intuitive, and navigation is a breeze.
The applications you can download are a lot of fun, and...

Good fun, small in size and very slim, plenty of music storage.
Very impressed. Fun easy to use, fun apps, had mine for 13 months, it's never let me down, the only bad point I can say is that the battery only holds about 3 hours of using time, other than that Apple iPod Touch 8GB is a top buy!

I got the iPod touch for Christmas and my first thought was "great but I've got a perfectly good mp3 player!" However, a few games later my previous mp3 player became redundant as I connected to the wifi, checked my email, watched clips on you tube, checked the weather forecast (I know not exciting but I could!)
There are so many games available at very reasonable prices its hard not to find something to amuse everybody. The menus are very accessible with everything being nicely laid out...

The Apple Ipod Touch may be more expensive than other alternatives but it is definitely worth it...
The 3.5 inch screen is brilliant for viewing good quality photos, as well as viewing video podcasts, movies and tv shows. The album artwork comes out brilliantly when playing music and looks stunning, as well as the wallpaper when unlocking the ipod on startup... The wi-fi built in is amazing!!! It is incredibly useful with a range that is even better than some laptops. The safari browser is...

With its striking design and multi-touch interface, the ipod touch is the best ipod yet. The screen is very clear and crisp and perfect for watching music videos or tv shows. Although you need a network connection, the safari web browser is a very useful feature for times when you want to surf the internet without the use of a computer (at the gym for instance). The lack of games however, is disappointing and would be useful for times when you cant connect to the internet. (read more)

Overall, I would give the i Pod touch a 9/10 rating. I think apple has come out with the best i Pod possibly ever made with its, multi-touch interface, and built in safari web browser, along with other great features. The only down fall to this device, is its chrome backing, it can scratch easily, but as long as you keep it in a case, this shouldn't be a problem. (read more)

It is really beautiful machine, but the sound level and calendar options are lacking somewhere. I went through the reset which did nothing to improve the sound level or quality. I was in a fast food restaurant and could not hear my iPod above their music. I compared it to the iPod Classic which was much better in quality sound and level. So I'll decide between the Classic and the Zune 2. The Touch was returned, too much money not to be completely satisfied. (read more)
