I really enjoy using the iPod Nano. The reasons why is because, number one it has a video camera. The only bad thing about the video camera is that you cannot take pictures, only videos but there are many effects on the iPod. The second thing that I really love about the iPod Nano 6th generation is that you can listen to the radio. The one thing I don't like about that is that you can't listen to the radio without headphones. The last and best thing about the iPod Nano 6th generation is that... (read more)

Ipod nano looks good and is easy to use, but not very reliable. I had to send my first one back as it wouldn't switch off. Got a new one really easily as it was under warrantee. Lasted a year before the same thing happened again. Unfortunately now not under warrantee, so will be looking for a more reliable brand next time. (read more)

brilliant sound quality, it has awesome graphics and its very cute, but it is prone to crashing and often some new songs that I put on refuse to play, or disappear altogether. I find the battery life annoyingly short, and the headphones are uncomfortable and don't block out background noise. Itunes is a pain, it doesn't run on programs like Linux or Ubuntu, I personally dislike Microsoft Windows, and trying to run Itunes on it drives me up the wall.
But despite all that I am very proud of it...

The Nano is a great MP3 Player, you can listen to music clearly and watch photos and movies on it's screen. You can now also listen to the radio using the built in FM reciever. One thing I think Apple should improve on is making the nano more sociable. The iPod touch already has this but this little slip-up has kept the nano from being a great product. It's still good though. (read more)

I think the IPOD nano is a lovely little device. Very cute and handy. I did have trouble working it at first. MAybe that was just me. It has a sleek look. And once you can use it, it is great. I think they are a great invention.
The only draw back I have with the Ipod Nano, is that the screen is ver susceptible to damages. So if you do get one, get a cover to protect it. I must add here, make sure you get a good cover. Someone bought one for me, but it does not protect the screen. Hence...

I recently received a bright blue 16GB iPod Nano for my birthday and loved the look. The sleek curves and larger screen display are a much better design than the old generation Nano.
Because it is so small I can easily tuck it into my handbag or purse and listen to music on the go, on the train or car. I really like the shake to shuffle although I worry I might shake it too much! The colour display is lovely and I've yet to download any videos in iTunes to watch (note to self - must do so)....

I have had my Ipod Nano 3rd Gen 8gb for 14 months. It is in its third life, having been repaired (replaced, actually twice) and is now "freezing up" again. Clearly there is too much crammed into the space for it all to be reliable.
I was at an independent repairer and they told me on the QT that they'd had a lot of nano 3gs back.

I'm a huge fan of Apple and the iPod Nano 4th generation is no exception. Quality product, exceptional looks and nice new curves ensures that Apple remain ahead of the game in this market.
First off the iPod Nano 4th generations' screen is much bigger which means that playing games on it is now ok. The new deisgn has also incorporated features such as the screen rotation meaning you can flick it over and I like the fact that you can just shake it to shuffle the songs. However, if you're out...

The ipod nano is very light compared to the first generation Ipod I also have.
Nice screen too for the size and Ive had no problems at all with it since owning.
Very good overall - hard to fault it. It does what it says on the tine and is a great piece of kit. Would love ot have larger file size, but then size and lightness is a factor of not having huge amount of disk space, so the compromise is a fair one.

iPod nano seems to be just a fad. It has the new features it boast aside from the gigs added but for a pro user of iPod and other media gadgets the advertisement is just appears a bit overrated. Probably the advertisers might have overdone the grafix thing on the media ads but the real work is on the palm of your hand. Good upgrade but not necessarily that amazing in a sense. The screen might as well be the best improvement for the thing but you don't have to look at the screen all the time,... (read more)

Was really infuriated and disgusted with this Apple iPod nano v2 8GB. I foolishly made the assumption that an upgrade improves a product, not reduces its' functionality. It has limited use with any of my gadgets-it won't charge on my ipod speakers or wall adapter- and because it runs low on battery all the time, it means you have to be close to a computer to reboot. Not great for travel. What I loved about my old Nano was the fact that I could travel anywhere with it and long car... (read more)

I love the new cover flow on the Ipod Nano its really clever that when you flip it over it will automaticly go into cover flow.Theres loads of great ranges of colours too i got mine in pink and love it.Also it is ever soo thin which makes it handy to just slip it in your pocket. You can also find songs/artists on it very easily without any fuss which is great if you just want to listen to a particular song. You can even play games on it using its tilt technology. I would not trade my iPod Nano unless it was for a larger version. I have yet to run out of room on it and store music for my wife, kids and me. Thank you Apple! Apple is great at putting out beautiful electronics. The nano 8GB is no exception. However, they really need to figure out the multitude of software and other interface (w/ itunes) problems. The interesting thing I found is it that quality and problems can vary dramatically between one ipod to the next, it's like a gamble. Their customer service and repair process also needs a major overhaul in my opinion. Love apple design but really starting to hate the support service. (read more)

Ipod nano 3rd generation
Well I got my first apple product and I can@t decide if I like the thing or not. I love the amount of features on this tiny media device, it's literally smaller than a credit card. The latest 3rd gen nano is capable of playing mp3's, storing up to 8 hours of video footage (encoded in mp4 format). It will also hold thousands of photos, even presents them as a slide show set to music of your choice. Additionally, It will store text notes with a 4Kb limit each. It...

This is a very good product . It can hold a large number of songs and take many photos on it's memory. The battery does not last that long- but i suppose if u use it for a long period of time the battery will run out . It can also be easily scratched so i advise investing in a cover or case for the ipod. (read more)

I had the first generation of iPod nano's years ago and they have improved so much. The design is a lot better being smaller lighter and fit's in the palm of your hand.
I would suggest as soon as you buy one of these you also buy a protective case, I didn't know I was getting one for Christmas and within a week of having it, it has the tiniest scratch on the screen. I bought a screen protector off ebay but the scratch still bugs me because I know it's there!
Anyway! The sound quality is...

After the 1st gen Nanos, the 2nd gens had a lot to live up to. The form factor, the sound quality, the software- and they were at least comparable. The first thing that struck me, mine being a re-furb, were the dents in the case. there were plenty, to accompany a cornucopia of scratches. if you are going to abuse the poor thing, you will leave scars. don,t. And of course, the big question for you audiophile types, sound quality? Good, actually! The Stock i Buds will never exceed the i Pod's... (read more)

This is the second Nano I have had. The sound is great with a decent pair of headphones, and I love the way it looks, and its ease of use.
Unfortunately the good points are more than outweighed by the bad.
This is the second one I have had that has corrupted, I'm normally very careful about how I connect and disconnect from the pc, but it seems that just blowin on the nano is enough to corrupt it!

This and most other apple products bought in the EU have a volume limit built into the firmware, this is additional to the volume limit setting you can adjust from the menu of the device. This is the problem folks, most people buy iPods and other MP3 players to listen while running, travelling on a plane or Bus or whatever. These units are so quiet you can hear the wind noise, people chatting and Aeroplane hum whilst the volume is on MAX disturbing your listening enjoyment.
They are fine...

I am talking about the old iPod Nano which I personally think is better than the new one. I got my 2 gb Nano for my birthday and was very impressed with the finish on it when it came out of the box. I went to the computer and put in the upload disk. I really really appreciate the coming of the iPod or any of the memory storage on board today because I knew it is going to end up that way. I am beginning to think of which other media storage is going to be out next, I don't think there will be something better than the iPod or any other memory storage device.
