I was disappointed by the functionality and design of this tool.
The channel in which the jigsaw baseplate slides is a few millimetres wider than the baseplate itself, thus it does not centre the jigsaw perfectly, and requires that the user pay additional attention during the cut (which is exactly what I thought the tool was designed to avoid). It is difficult to centre the workpiece, because one has to lower the clamp in order to ascertain the location of the centre and then raise it again...

I found this review very helpful because...Sean outlined a very serious shortcoming of the Saw table. The main reason I would be interested in one of these is to have the saw guided on the right track.
