Having had the Photo Lounge do our wedding album was the best choice made,each photograph captured every moment of our special day. And with every photo the memories are relived. The colours and lighting are fantastic as are the poses and natural shots captured, a fantastic way of bring traditional and modern together. Absolutely,fantastic! I had a photoshoot today 28/7/12, i went with the impression that for the small amount i paid i wouldnt get much for my money, i was very surprised!! On arrival i was offered drinks tea, coffee, soft drinks, then i was seated for my manicure, then i was moved to the makeup area which was laid out to perfection, i chose the smokey eye effect (kim Kardashian style) which no-one has ever managed to duplicate before, the makeup artist was very polite, very friendly and managed to get the look i... I bought my voucher from trafford centre, i must admit if it was'nt for my daughter i would have never got drawn into it. It wasnt easy to get hold of anybody on the local number provided on the voucher, but contact us form on their website was very useful and i had a prompt response. We were looked after from the time we arrived to the time we left. Very friendly, courteous staff, complimentary drinks and wonderful photographer. Me and my friend booked this through the groupon deal at £15 for manicure, make up, photo shoot and free 6x4" print at the photo lounge and we were pleasantly surprised when we found out we got out hair done as well. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly gentleman who offered us tea or coffee and we were asked to complete forms re preferences etc, my friend was taken for her make up as she had acrylic nails and i was taken for the manicure although this was just a nail polish but... I thought I would treat my daughter and myself to a bit of pampering so when I saw the groupon offer for £15 I booked the 28th January. Whenwe arrived we were taken for a manicure. My experience with The Photo Lounge in Manchester was fantastic from beginning to end. The staff were warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was alive and professional with plenty of refreshments. We had an amazingly most memorable day. The photographer (Nick) was so professional and the shots were second to none. Most definately a day to remember. The cost of the photos were expensive but if compared to say the cost of a Wedding photographer the cost is realistic. Have tried other photo shoot lounges but this one is by far the best I've experienced. Make up was tasteful, staff friendly. After purchasing a voucher for the photolounge i was really excited about having some nice pictures taken but at the same time a bit worried being a woman of colour would they get my make up right.When i got to the studio i had a full consultation with the makeup artist on how i would like my makeup,i didnt need my nails done as i had acrylics and also didnt need my hair doing because i had it done at a salon beforehand.On my makeup being completed i was absoultly delighted with the results... I bought a voucher, and it was the best £10 i ever spent. I wasnt intending on buying any pictures, but got a really good package deal. The studio itself was really nice. The makeup was amazing and the photos were outstanding. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I am really impressed with the outcome, as i have been to many photo studios. Worst experience ever, really got under my skin and still so angry about way I was treated.
Stupidly brought one of those vouchers, handed money over on the street.
They mucked me around, messed up my appointments, blamed me and shouted at me! Then asked for refund and told I could not have one! No cooling off period at all and told non refundable. So dubious!
Staff were so rude and aggressive towards me, called me a liar, actually shouting at me. In the end gave in because they...

They made me look worse than better! Makeover studio- not! It wasnt until late the night befor my appointment they rang to confirm my booking at 10:30pm!!! When arriving my first impressions was that it was a nice studio innit but the longer I had to wait the more dirt I noticed! - Trust me I had to wait a long time!
