Version purchased was 2012 version - price offered was brilliant, less than half the cost of 2013 model in competing stores. Service was absolutely brilliant. KNew what bike I wanted and after speaking to they, they knew what upgrades I needed/didn't need. The bike only took 10 days to be made up with the upgrades and delivered to my door and that was over the Good Friday Easter Monday too. “No communication and no delivery”

I tried to order something from singletrack bikes recently. The order status remained 'not processed' for nearly a week, at which point I tried to cancel my order by email. I tried to call them numerous times beforehand but just received a voicemail messsage explaining that they were busy serving customers in the shop. They haven't made any attempt to contact me to explain what is going on. Very frustrating. I've since placed a new order with Spa Cycles, and it was delivered the next day!... (read more)

I am very sorry to hear about your negative shopping experience with us.
We are up to date with emails and communication at the moment and every customer gets email updates on the progress on their orders so I suspect our emails have been going into your spam folder as we are pretty good at progress emails. I currently have no outstanding order cancellation emails so I'd be keen to hear from you to find out what has gone wrong and where.
There are only 2 of us here and we work really hard to try to get it right, but sometimes something goes wrong and there is usually a good explanation and we like to keep our customers happy.

I was looking for an inexpensive showerproof jacket to wear on my bike when I came across the Polaris Aqualite which seemed to fit the bill. Having read some of the reviews online I was really pleased to find that Singletrack Bikes were selling it at half price, whereas all the other outlets were selling it or very near the RRP. I remember discussing this with you via email so I am very familiar with your order. You ordered on a Thursday from a web page which said 3-4 working days for delivery on that particular item so you should have been aware of the dispatch time. The 6 days you quoted I'm afraid is an exaggeration as it was the following Monday morning that you were complaining about having not received your order having only been 2 working days from placing your order. You have also taken my quote in your review from my email out of context as where it says 3-4 working days for dispatch customer do place orders knowing they will wait this time.

Hi there, thanks for your review. Please note we take all feedback seriously.
I would like to say in our defense these occurences are very rare. It is a lot of work to maintain accurate stock levels due to not only selling on the website, but in the shop, on ebay and amazon, etc so keeping track between all of those locations is more complex than you might think.
Also there are returns to consider being booked back in properly to the correct place and other factors which create errors. There are something like 15,000 product codes on the system and while we are proud of how well we manage, we are of course open to human error which will occasionally happen.
We are very sorry though that we let you down. I can assure you it is not common place here.
