I bought a mattress online a Saturday, to be delivered next Tuesday. I asked a colleague the huge favor of covering me that day so I can be at home for the delivery. They called me next Monday to tell me that there was a problem and that it won´t be possible to deliver it so I order new delivery for Saturday which is my day off. Took what I thought was a gamble given some of the reviews I read and ordered a kids bed and mattress. Time wasn't an issue so I didn't choose the offered next day delivery but instead used named day delivery 2 weeks in advance. On the day of delivery I received an email and prior to delivery (both items came in separate shipments about an hour apart) I received a call from the driver, very courteous no issues with the delivery process at all. Very pleased with the mattress which on opening the parcel 'popped' up to reveal a well made product. On arrival the parcel size worried me as it was so small. Our 2000 pocket sprung Millbrook mattress arrived very securely packaged, to prevent any damage, & when we ordered the mattress, it was arranged for delivery after a couple of days which was excellent. The mattress is very comfortable, although soft it is firm which I needed for my back. Mattress Word was very easy to contact and the online purchase experience was easy and straight forward. They were very helpful and flexible regarding the delivery date. Delivery was on time. Silentnight Miracoil 3 Classic Mattress Double was reduced in price and was excellent value for money. The person who is using the mattress did report that the mattress is particularly firm but if people are suffering from bad backs that is probably a good thing. (read more)

The drivers who delivered this mattress got lost. I had to direct them by phone and had to advise them to use google maps to find my postcode. None of them knew what I was talking about. In any case had to collect them from a BP garage as they were not sure where to go. I think that the company needs to provide the deliverers with the correct up to date sat nag equipment. Even though we got there in the end. A free app like google maps would have eliminated this frustrating... (read more)

I bought a bed and mattress off of groupon from them and I always go through my groupons with a fine toothed comb. There was absolutely nothing in the fine prints that said they do not deliver to flats. All it offered was free delivery. Well people please do not be fooled as they have hired a man with a van who is not insured to lift anything. Although picking the mattress and paying on line is fairly quick and easy, the rest is just a joke. I initially requested (and paid £30) for a Saturday delivery as it is difficult for me to take time off work. So comfy, provides an excellent nights sleep. Moulds to you body removing pressure points for a much improved nights sleep compared with a more traditional coil sprung mattress.. Providing 10cm of the 20cm height of memorey foam its worth spending that extra. This mattres can be used on a bed with slats without any issues. I can honestly say this is a great mattress certainly worth the money provides a good nights sleep. (read more)

Ordered a mattress on Monday which stated was in stock and could be delivered next day. Waited all day Tuesday nothing, called and was put on hold for ten minutes and got no- one. Emailed Wednesday and got no response. Phoned 3 times Thursday eventually got customer service after 13 minutes on hold at premium rate to be told it had missed delivery slot.
