I bought this item for my uncle who had been moaning about the state of our garden (i dont do gardens)it arrived really quickly, and then sat there for a month and a half until my husband could not stand the state of the garden anymore, he went out yesterday, and came back with the biggest grin on his face, he said it was fantastic, so i went to have a look and we have no bushes left in the garden, what we do have is a bush lawn, (he's not good at clearing up his mess,) he loved it so much... “Black and Decker GT510 JUNK”

This hedge trimmer lasted four hours the first time i used it and then it broke down. It took over three months to get it repaired under warranty. I then got another two hours work out of it before it gave up again. Agree with the last persons comments. This hedge trimmer is not fit for purpose. It is junk. (read more)

I bought one of these pieces of junk to replace my aged Black & Decker hedge trimmer that had provided nearly a decade of service. I only replaced the old one because I was fed up with taking the damned thing to bits and re-soldering the electrical connections which had broken down through fatigue.
