I read the reviews on this company and was really in two minds over whether to order but they were the only company that seemed to stock the ascot/Cambridge set so we called and enquirer to suss them out. Answered quickly and we're fairly honest that the April delivery stated on website was more likely to be May so we took the chance. “The worst customer experience in my life!”

We have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company over the last few weeks and I can safely say that this has been the worst customer experience I have ever received! We ordered a set of furniture and were given a delivery date. This was then revised to a later date without any apology. Ordered furniture very beginning of April, mid May no update on website phoned them up and was told I would have it by the end of May. Then June came phoned again it was set for delivery at the start of July, so I take a day off work delivery time comes and goes and still no furniture, phone up the courier company and they have an address 400 miles away to deliver to. We ordered our corner outdoor sofa on 19th May, like the rest they never contacted us within the 10 days stated. Received an email to advise that it will be delivered on 5th July, on the 4th we received a further email to advise that it would be delivered between 7am & 10am. I ordered my table chairs and umbrella May 19th, I didn't get a call back with in 10 days (should have knowing then to run away) but after some time Mark Cartwright promise that if I waited until 2th July my delivery would be here no problem. Feel free to contact the CEO as Chartered FCIPD Head of customer service fails to reply to telephone calls

Ordered conservatory set online in early May AND paid upfront. No update so I rang them. Items not in stock after all! After nearly a month delivery date arranged for 20th June. Delivery not made despite the wife turning down extra work and waiting in during afternoon. I rang them later the same day to be told the items only came in 2 days ago and so would be delivered at a later date! This was totally inconvenient as we would be on holiday. I requested a manager contact me as they are still taking orders for goods they know cannot be supplied, rang them again on Wednesday and guess what still waiting for the Manager to call me, said exactly the same about summer being over.
Good customer service - I think not maybe I'll give Watchdog a call they might be very interested. Like Mr C I am cancelling my order

I am having the exact same issue. After many phone calls to Ratten Direct and to the Courier Arrow. I was suppose to have my furniture delivered on Sat 14 June. No calls, no communication from anyone. After spending time all week tracking this myself I have discovered my furniture has been sitting in Arrow Freight's depot since last Saturday 14 June. I received a phone message today from this freight company (only as I complained all week) advising me 'hopefully the courier may pick-it up from the depot early next week and 'hopefully' delivers this to me on the same day. I still do not know what day it is being delivered!! I live only 40miles from the depot. So WHY is my furniture still sitting in the freight company's depot! I think Ratten Direct should be reviewing their courier and changing to a reliable company. I am so disappointed also.
