I have just arranged for my order that was not delivered to be returned by the courier company as the people at BBCmk do not have any customer service skills at all and have just lost themselves a lot of business ,they were not prepared to forgo £4.95 delivery charge to rectify mistakes made by themselves and the courier company that they use.. I bought a penny board off bucks boarding and used the next day delivery even though it was after two o'clock ( it was about 2 50) and the board still came the next day! Bbc can not fit snowboarding boots to save their lives, they mis sold me a pair. As someone that had only used rentals I was unsure of how the boots should fit. After giving me a narrow fitting boot(I have wide feet) also a size to small. If I knew what I did now I would not have purchased them. having bought boots from BBC many times (almost every other year) I've always had great advice from the guys in there, and tried on a number of pairs until I've found the right fit - not settling for a boot until I was happy that they felt like slippers. It would seem strange that you had such a bad experience especially as the staff in there have been fitting boots for years!

Im not saying that you didnt have a bad experience (clearly you did) - but when buying snowboard boots, it is only your foot in the thing, and therefore only you that can say how it feels, not the staff members in any shop, if you said it felt comfortable and it was a right fit (therefore buying the boots) then there is nothing more a shop can do, once purchased - AND USED, no shop will return / refund for used products, this is why it is so important to make the right choice, which only YOU can do, I would say the "rudeness" you experienced was maybe the fact that you didnt get the outcome you were looking for?

I only say this, as it seems as you are the only person to write a poor review for what seems like a generally well respected company and staff members.

So I stumbled on this site and after a few weeks of eyeing up the female boots stocked I made my first order. Check out was simple. Delievery was quick and shipping was very prompt, which was fantastic as I was eagerly waiting for the delivery of my first pair of boots. I ordered just before a bank holiday which could have been a nightmare. My thirtytwo 86 ft are lush and the colours are shown well in the photo. Able to go into the store before making the purchase online. I have bought various items from the store for snow boarding. As a newbie to boarding there is still plenty to learn about equipment, use and fit. Both times I have been in, the staff have spent plenty of time with me, trying on different fits and options - explaining everything to me. I have never felt rushed, or that they were impatient. These are my second pair of Libertines, I love the pure flex lacing! Just pull up and lock'n'load. They stay tight all day, no re-lacing after each run. Not too stiff, but they last super well for a whole session, as I am an instructor, that's over 20 weeks of daily riding! If you want a really great boots, these do want it says on the tin, if you know what I mean!! As for service this pair came in 2 days - excellent. (read more)
