“Poor support and disregard for customer wellbeing ”

I would echo what many other reviews report about JS Tours being a disingenuous company. Their website's technical errors (and misleading information) resulted in my request for an airport shuttle being denied shortly before my flight. I originally requested the shuttle two days prior to departure and received an error saying 24 hours was the maximum time window prior to a departure that a shuttle could be booked. Therefore, I waited an additional day before resubmitting the request, only to receive the same error. I contacted the company's support and described the issue. They thanked me for helping to identify the website misconfiguration and then promptly refused to help sort out my shuttle request. The original issue could be overlooked as simple human error, but the company's disregard for their customer's well-being was a disappointment.

“Terrible Customer Service. You'll find better prices...”

Trips were fine. However, customer service as downright awful. They went to the wrong hotel to pick us up, which meant we had to ride a bus ourselves to a separate pick up location for all of the people they messed up on. By the time we got the Xcaret, half the day was over. When we called requesting compensation for their mistake, they refused to give us a direct answer and continued to redirect us to different people. At one point, they even said "Fernando doesn't work here anymore" when I referenced a earlier conversation I had with another rep. MORAL OF THE STORY: DO NOT BUY FROM CANCUN-DISCOUNTS. YOU'LL FIND BETTER PRICES ON-SITE; JUST WALK/BUS INTO THE CITY CENTER. You can even haggle and get better combined packages.

“2 hour ride became 4!”

We where the second stop for pick up at 6:45. They didnt show up until 7:20. Then they had to pick up other people and that took until 9:45. They also stopped at 3 gas stations for some unknown reason. They didnt speak at all to us. Finally we where on our way and they stopped again at the 4th gas station..here they actually spoke to us and said we can use the restroom. Website said tolls included...well they pocketed that money and took the back roads. We asked about toll roads and he said it would get us there an hour faster but it was to much money to pay. I would never book with them again. Unless you love hot van rides. Because we where sweating like pigs in that van.

“Missed my return trip to airport, I had to pay for a cab”

CANCUN DISCOUNT TOURS didnt show up for my return trip to the airport I had to have my Hotel get me a cab, when I called the company to resolve the issue they refused to deal with me refused a manager hung up on me after recalling I got manager she wanted an email telling her about the problem...but refused a refund or rembursment for the cab...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We were there to pick you up at 3:30 PM as you requested, and as we confirmed on your confirmation. When we arrived we were informed that you had been there at 2:00 PM, 1 1/2 hours earlier, and left without calling us as our instructions were that we provide. If you had called us to come earlier than planned, we could have done that, but you just left and went to the airport some 4.5 hours before your flight and didn't let us know so we still made the trip to Playa del Carmen to pick you up as scheduled.

I am sorry that you made a mistake on your time, and therefore missed your transfer. But it is not fair to hold us responsible for that. We were there when and where we said we would be and you were long gone without even a phone call. Nobody would give you a refund in that situation, not even us and we are widely known for the best customer service in the business.
