Rob Lacey's The Street Bible is easier to read and makes an impression on those who would not otherwise read the Word. Great gift for a new Christian, especially someone in their teens or twenties. Definitely not for the purist. It misses out many of the finer points and is difficult to follow at a Bible reading. Don't try to find particular verses, just sit down and read it. Love the 23rd Psalm.

Rob Lacey, The Street Bible is a translation of the Bible into modern day language and situations, which makes it much easier for people of today's world to understand its meaning. His translation offers a new angle on the traditional stories and the Bible's message is learnt with a bit more fun involved, making it suitable for both children and adults.
