Just outside of Jakarta is the town of Bogor where the fabulous Taman Safari Park is located. It took about 2.5 hours for us to get there, but we inadvertently traveled there during a holiday at the end of Ramadan, so I assume that the traffic would be much better normally. It's an interesting drive for most of the way for those of us from western countries, too. Next time we're in Jakarta we'll take a couple of days out and stay in Bogor to spend more time at the park and to see the nearby... (read more)
