My parcel arrived from the USA into the uk on 16th April. Since the 16th there have SUPPOSEDLY been 6 attempts over 6 days to deliver my parcel. Each time i received an email saying they had tried to deliver and had left a calling card. NOT THE CASE. They have a chat line on their website so every day i would speak to them about the fact that there had been no YODEL vans visiting my property . “NEVER USE THEM!”

Never use them. Drivers are lazy and avoid some areas e.g. Block of flats. They will click attempted deliver even when they did not attempt. Customer services is unhelpful, they are unable to contact they're drivers or depots. Customer services online chat personals also lied to me about the drivers able to call the receiver. “No attempt to ring or knock or even leave a card ...”

I have had 2 deliveries this week from different suppliers both came via Yodel. The first one we found sat by the front door in plain sight the day after it was delivered. We come and go via the rear of the property and as such happened across it quite by chance as there was no card left. Yodel has truly provided the worst service I have ever received. I waited at home all day yesterday for a parcel that didn’t arrive. I did however receive an email stating they had missed me. My confusion is quite obvious as I was home waiting for the parcel. One star is too generous. Asked for parcel to be left in a safe place round the back (one of the delivery options when purchasing), instead got a delivery card saying that it was not left and had been taken back to the depot. When I called there was a computer and no one to speak to. Already late in delivery and now I have to wait even longer. Would not recommend this service at all… Read Full Review

Listen folks, Here are 6 reasons why I have issues with Yodel: 1. Their online chat DOES NOT WORK. It's just there for show. 2. You are forced to call them at 1p per minute on top of other service charges. In the past I have tried 3 different numbers, once I had called and waited for 15min when the line finally rang, before it cut off, meaning Yodel HUNG UP on me. Excuse me?! 3. Didn't turn up to collect the parcel, after someone waited in all day. LIED about leaving a delivery card, (they didn't leave one). spent so much time on the phone, they all pass the buck to the next person- no one seems to know what they are doing. “Useless”

Driver claims no access to my property. 1. I have been waiting in ALL day and 2.no way can any vehicle pull up in front of my house without me seeing/hearing it. 3. Big driveway you could drive a bus into so confused about lack of access. No card left either saying he had tried !!! My postcode also is the centre of all neighbouring properties(nearest being 300 metres away) and often have to direct people to the other addresses that share same code. “item delivered somewhere ”

So after 48 hours of creaming and chasing the driver that allegedly delivered the item on Tuesday the 21st at my address but was never received has come back to my house this morning ( by chance I was in ) to show me that he buried the item in my front garden. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ordered a package through Amazon. I was told it would be delivered on the 17th so I stayed in that day and waited for the doorbell. Nothing. I then checked online to see the delivery status and, apparently, the package had been delivered AND signed for! “The worst ... in this world!”

Almost every time my parcel is delivered by Yodel there is a problem. Their couriers usually do not attempt to deliver the parcels .they do not leave the cards and have the phones off. I have been ordering the same product for 3 weeks since the courier does not come and he just that lies nobody was at home then immediately sends the package to the sender. I was meant to have two parcels delivered. I apparently missed the first two deliveries and on the last delivery I left work early to make sure I was home in plenty time.. Appalling, absolutely appalling. If Yodel was a racehorse it would be glue by now. Yet again Yodel managed to 'deliver' (to someone else) not one but TWO parcels. I was hot on it (and at home waiting on them) when the delivered email came through, so was back in touch with YODEL within 5 minutes to tell them. "No they haven't". I recent sold an expensive picture (£460) via Ebay and paid Yodel approx £35 to send it (insured for loss) via their 24 hour service. After around a week I was contacted by the buyer to say he hadn't received it. I checked the tracking which showed it had been delivered and signed for 2 days after being dispatched (so not even within the 24 hours I had paid for). Yodel is a complete waste of space, absolutely useless. Literally exists for one reason, to deliver a parcel from A to B and they fail completely at that. If you find an online retailer using this service I would strongly recommend avoiding them or go pick your parcel up personally. One example is Ebuyer, every time I have ordered something from them it takes several days (if I'm lucky) for them to "find" the property which has a 750ft lit up TV transmitter on top. I can only add my own experience of this hopeless company to the many other people let down by this joke of an organisation. I'd heard from other people how hopeless Yodel was but was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt until I myself suffered the Yodel delivery service. Out when tried to deliver. Went on to online chat and reassured parcel back at depot. Went to collect not there. Given phone no, rang many times and would just ring out or be cut off immediately. Found another no and they gave me email address, which was inaccurate. Funpming by now. Website claims great customer service. Left review on trust pilot as so appalled.
