I ordered a spare wheel and tyre from a VW dealer. It was arranged by Parcel2Go, and carried by Yodel. On the day it was supposed to have arrived, I went to the Yodel web site, and saw the parcel was marked as "Customer on holiday". I was told no-one was in and they could not leave a note as there was no letter box. 10am Received text that goods would be delivered that day.14.00 received text saying your goods have been successfully delivered, now pls complete our survey- goods had not arrived! The worst courier service i have ever used. I 100% will never buy from a retailer if they use this courier. Terrible customer service. The phone kept getting put down on me when i said could you please speak clearly. Nobody speaks english and they are offended if you do not understand. Hello, this company are a complete waste of time, after 14 phone calls, after being passed from one department ! To another so they say, they said they had tried to deliver 3 times, LIARS, my property is covered by security camera, I offered to show them times when they said they had tried to deliver they put phone down on me, ! I called the Customer Service number after missing the delivery by about 5 minutes the can was still parked over the road although as I'm disabled (which the advisor found funny) I was unable to go to the driver, the CS Advisor stated the driver would come back to my property, after an hour the driver was still sat in the can and then drove off, I was then forced to arrange delivery for the following day after waiting 3 hours. Yodel are without doubt the worst parcel delivery firm right now in the UK, and have been every time they have (eventually) delivered something. What's worse is that I don't like the sort of people who turn up with my goods - I simply wouldn't trust them. And they are always late in delivery and don't seem to care. After order several items online, i have stopped using Amazon for online purchases as you risk having your parcel delivered by Yodel. I ordered three items for delivery. Online tracking confirms that delivery has been attempted and a card has be left - i have never received a card. On each occasion i rescheduled delivery, however none of the parcels arrived. I ordered a motorcycle helmet for my grandson for Christmas on the 15th December and the dealer promptly sent it out to Yodel for delivery, well as you can see from the updates on Yodel's system it never left the area for delivery to me in Bristol. The dealer has now cancelled my order and refunded my money, which is great, but it doesn't help me get the helmet I need. Had message yesterday, parcel out for delivery, had to take son to party so called and asked roughly what time delivery was,told be here by 3.10 pm. Laura Ashley use Yodel so I would avoid this method if you can!! I've never experienced a delivery service like Yodel! How do they get away with calling themselves a service I don't know! Yodel are quite possibly the most useless, inept, duff, dire, (call them what you want)delivery service in the WHOLE of the UK. I hate them. Any service where you can not speak to anyone if something goes wrong is always one to avoid. Yodel pretend there are helplines and 24hour chat. I have had an issue with yodel for over a week and in that whole time the 24hour chat has not been available once. The free phone number available is automated and has v limited options and so if there are any issues you are completely stuck. Worst courier company I have come a cross. The website wouldn't track properly and when you call customer service you CANNOT get to speak to a human being. It's taken 2 weeks to get a two day delivery with no help at all from yodel, in the end I took things into my own hands, found out that yodel had delivered to the wrong place, called the place and arranged to collect the item myself. OK, so no parcel companies are that good - they all get complaints - but Yodel stands out as being the very worst courier I have ever experienced. My parcel has been stuck at the local delivery centre for two weeks as there's still no sign of it moving. Yet they have the gall to accuse their customers such as Amazon of doing too much business!
