Paid more for a Saturday delivery as only day available for a birthday present, stayed in to wait. Then the delivery came, ignored the doorbell and must not have knocked as downstairs would have heard. Royal mail delivered fine only an hour before! If you see the company use yodel avoid! You will not get your parcel. I now have to either take time off work for a 1.5 hour journey to get the parcel or wait til after the birthday for the delivery… Read Full Review

“Never even tried to redeliver”

Had a parcel sent to me and I missed the delivery. Yodel state they will try three times to re deliver. They have made no further attempts to deliver my parcel and they keep stating that they have tried.LIERS! I have been in and have cctv . You can,t even speak to anyone to complain. The sender got hold of them and said they would redeliver for a fourth time and no attempt was made again!. I have only ever had the first attempt when they left the card no others. Couriers not bothered at all about delivery on the day stated on their website. No contact to courier, they don't know anything!! I really don't know who work for them??? I'm waiting for my parcel for over a week now, and the only info i can check is that parcel was out for delivery twice and was return to the depot centre. no info why????!!!! No any reason!!! “Just useless”

Only one time, out of eleven deliveries, have actually been brought near my door. Somehow, drivers seem to get work at Yodel having zero ability to read a post code or sat nav. I then have to go through the saga of investigations where the drivers take my items to a similar sounding place. So a 24 hour delivery takes at least two weeks to reach me, if at all. Yodel has been good for me in some respects. The online chat service has been amazing. The advisors are quick to respond and have been very helpful, although it can take hours before you are able t connect. They really need more staff here. Also, after three failed delivery attempts which I will get to, I collected my parcel from my local depot, and the girl behind the counter was quick and polite. Second time I have had Yodel as a delivery company and equally as disappointing. Arrived back from work to find a note saying package had been left at my local newsagents. Why? I have lots of neighbors in the same block! If they aren't in, keep it and put through a re-delivery note. Newsagent did not have my package, and, as usual, the same 'Sorry we can't find that parcel' appeared on the tracking system. An attempt was made to deliver a parcel on 6.9.16 and a card was left. It stated on the said card that another attempt would be made the next day. I arranged for someone to be at my premises but no attempt made. When I checked with the senders website Yodel had reported to them that I was on holiday. Very odd! Orange card dropped through tried to reschedule via the Internet and my 8 digit tracking code didnt work. Suprise suprise Had to then make a call to them spoke to an advisor who advised it would be rebooked for Thursday its now 16.20 and i call them to be told its on hold. Trying to get a laptop delivered. First tried to deliver to a work address at 1838? No card left. Second delivery aparrently tried at 1644 but police at the door said never saw the van I waited till 1930 that evening, they called when 2 other couriers tried to deliver a parcel but no yodel. Now I can't even collect it as I have no missed delivery card and they will only release when you have a card. Employe people who actually attempt to deliver parcels and not state that they did when they didn't. Yodel is the most unreliable courier I have ever dealt with and this is not the first time. So, I placed an order through sports direct on Thursday - next day delivery - yodel stated they hadn't received my parcel to deliver it on the Friday. However, I had been issued a tracking number and email to confirm they had collected it. Not delivered the Friday! I ordered an item (TiVo Box) from Virgin media which should have arrived today. I called Yodel customer service at 17:45 hours today after waiting all day. Booked a 48hr parcel delivery via the website on Wed 24th August. Collection was attempted at 20.23 and not within the business hours stated. This would have been ok if the courier tried again the next day. You would think this logical yes? Avoid at all cost. Once delivered broken product even though one would think it was impossible to break it. Second time worse nightmare - drivers keep leaving the card without even ringing the bell properly (I missed them while at home!) and not even trying neighbors even though I specifically asked. My parcels are now going back to the sender and this is all costing me a lot of money. I was due to receive a delivery of a new hub from Virgin Media and was informed that it could be left with a neighbour if I was out. The driver did not go to my neighbour's address and didn't even leave a calling card.
