Tracked parcel all day someone here all day spoke to chat line told parcel would be here by 9pm .at 7.30 saw note on tracking list to say they called at 3.3o and left a card. No they didn't and there is no card. Tried unsuccessfully to speak to someone. Chat line was useless . Ended up reschedule for tomorrow but as they never got here today or left a card not hopeful they will get here ! They could learn a lot from argos ! Parcel sent from Holland to UK which ended up in Yodel depot. It took two days to get from Amsterdam to Bristol and then it sat there for 10 days. You think YODEL delivery service might have learnt from their mistake last time loosing my parcel, but this again shows how incompetent this company is. Yet again they state they have delivered my parcel and absolutely nothing is here. Yodel is the worst courier service in the country, I waited in for a delivery on Friday the 6/10/17 they did not arrive at 18-00 hours I get an email saying "sorry we missed you" they never came. redelivery was for Saturday the 7/10/2017 again they never arrive after waiting in again all day. 2 days total wasted, the delivery drivers lie to their employers saying that they called and disrespect the customers and take us for fools. this company needs to be closed down it causes so many problems… Read Full Review

I was awaiting a collection of an unwanted item. Driver did not ring door bell but left card saying "your parcel has been returned to etc" . I am not waiting for a parcel and appreciate this was an error on drivers part, though he/she should have rung door bell ! While I was out a Yodel courier tried to deliver an internationl parcel to me. When they got no answer, instead of leaving a "we tried to deliver a package to you card"/text/email, they redirected it to be returned to sender. There was no option of having the parcel redelivered. Was informed that delivery would be on 21/09/2017 anytime up to 7pm.Then received a text to say that item had been delivered to my requested safe place. Did not request a safe place. Yodels idea of a safe place was beside a plant trough in front garden in full view of main road for everyone to see. Yet again I have been let down by Yodel. So in the past (like everyone on here) I have had issues where courier states "customer not in, card left" - when I have waited in all day! So we have had someone wait all day for Yodel. They pull up outside my house. Not even leave the van. Drive off. Signed the delivery off claiming the premises are closed. Erm .. Im a house. 3x calls to their "customer service" line to find it's just automated. Tried to arrange delivery with on line service phone service and on line chat. All totally chaotic. Promised delivery repeatedly sat in for days. Got no where with on line chat. What a rubbish firm I just wish I had read the reviews on this company before purchasing a label for delivery. I paid £10.50 to post a parcel that I wanted to return following an online purchase. A pick up day was given times being between 8am and 6pm waited in all day no show. Terrible delivery service. No one called, texted, e-mailed or left any form of communication for the 4 times they "tried" to deliver. I orderd a collection on 6 Sept, stayed at home for whole day, nothing happened, phoned them next morning, they promised to collect but nothing happened. In the evening I phoned again and spoke to a manager who promised to refund and to cancell my order, but didn't. On 8 Sept I recieved a text message saying that they would collect today.(again). “"Delivered" in a safe place but nowhere to be found”

I wish I could give this company zero stars as my parcel has not been delivered and will probably never be. Got a note saying my parcel has been delivered and put in a "safe place". I did not ask them to do so and I have no clue where my parcel is. I asked my neighbours (that use to collect my packages and give them to me if I am unable to) and they said they have not seen it either. I don't even want to give YODEL a star. I used the next day delivery service to London and long-story-short four days later my parcel is tracked in the East Midlands. The driver attempted to deliver the package 5 days late but I wasn't in. Didn't leave a card I found out through the online tracking portal. The next day I stayed home to wait for the parcel and it didn't come, apparently they "couldn't access the property" so the driver didn't even try to deliver it.
