“Next day delivery is a joke”

I bought clothes with an online retail site at about 10. Am on the 28th July I got next day delivery as my order was over a certain amount (I would have paid for next day delivery anyway) I spent my day sat in the living room not wanting to miss the delivery as I am working long days the rest of the week the order did not come however when logging on to the tracking it said out for delivery, I am now frustrated that A) I waisted my day and B) I'm going to miss the parcel whenever it does arrive… Read Full Review

Quite simply disgusting. The driver left a card saying he had left it in a rubbish bin?! I live on a main road and checked bins outside 10 houses down and no sign of parcel. What person in their right mind would put a 'signed for' (which I clearly didn't do) package in a bleeping bin! My thoughts? Stolen. And given the other reviews it would be a safe assumption to make. few weeks ago... 1. Wednesday: supposed failed delivery and card left but I was in at the time and no card left 2. rang customer services soon after supposed failed delivery to question and told they would ring the delivery man to see if he could come back and would ring me back to confirm either way 3. hour later, no phone call; rang customer services again and was told that the previous person had indeed rung the delivery man but that he could not attempt redelivery that day; would I like to… Read Full Review

“Delivery man refused to deliver and became violent”

I wasn't allowed to to sign unchecked - which wasn't made clear, all parcel companies allow this and indeed also have Yodel. The parcel was then very aggressively snatched from me after I said I need to open and check if I can't sign unchecked. The delivery man entered the property to grab the parcel back. I couldn't believe what was happening but I still had hold of the parcel but we were halfway inside the hallway with my three year old daughter watching I decided to let go. If you look around the WWW you'll see abuse aimed at Yodel everywhere. I've given up waiting for them to deliver and I'm going to have to collect my parcel. It's the usual story of them claiming you weren't in when they've actually made no effort. If they had tried they would have at least left a card. The online site says they'll try tomorrow but tomorrow is Sunday and they don't deliver on a Sunday. Here I am again... With no parcel that has been taken hostage by Yodel. Again. Third time within one year actually. How it is even possible they still operate on market??? “Simmply incompetent”

I ordered a CD player on Monday 14/07/14 from a supplier offering 48-hour delivery. I naively assumed Royal Mail, so gave my home address - I live a couple of blocks away from the sorting office, so it's easy to pick up parcels. Wednesday, on schedule, Yodel attempted to deliver - I was out, they left a card - so far, so good. I ordered from a company which unfortunately uses Yodel for their deliveries. I received a text saying my parcel would be delivered between 7-1, I waited in all morning and no parcel arrived. I then went on to their tracking page and it said that my parcel had been delivered an hour earlier. I order a parcel and unfortunately online shop works with this company together. This was almost two weeks now and I still haven't received my parcel. To get contact someone in the customer service you have to wait a lot and you have to pay for this as well. The operators giving your poor excuses and are not really helpful at all and the drivers don't care to follow the procedure from the operators. Disappointing service from a company who's name seems to be becoming more well known. Tried to deliver a parcel twice with no luck so on the Wednesday I went online (to what I thought was a useful service) to rearrange my delivery to a new address (work). I had heard this courier company was bad. I have to agree they are!!! Spent the whole Saturday morning waiting for my delivery. Just checked their website to see they called and no one answered and left a note. Fuming just left a message on their website and told them where to go. Also told Ebuyer that they have lost a customer as I needed this delivered today. Now have to pop down the shops and see if I can get this stuff from another electrical shop. For 3 days I made sure someone was home to sign for the package. The first day it showed the courier went back to the depot at 5:15. The second day it never showed the courier going back. Perhaps he slept in his van. The third day it showed nothing again, but the 'chat' advisor informed me the driver only worked till 5:30 so I guess he's not coming.
