Just I did not pay £800 quid by debit card, I was not robbed by the criminal company.
Instead, my VISA credit card company investigated the case for nearlly 6 month which gave me loads of stress.
Because I knew that I was conned by them, why must I pay to them for what?
They just gave me agony because I had to ring a flying company by myself if my seat was already booked, or so on.
Eventually I was not charged the money by the card company, but this travel agent name would be pinned in my mind for the rest of my life.

This company is now for sale but only a complete idiot would purchase,they are fraudsters. I have had a similar situation where I booked a ticket to India in April 2012, but immediately cancelled as something came up. I called them up immediately to stop the transaction but they told me since the transaction was complete they couldnt do much about it except refund the ticket money deducing the tax money which was £125, since then I have been contacting these guys but like you said, the customer service guys appear to be like chicks who just came out of their shells and the accounts team which works only on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays doesnt reply to your emails and they dont have a phone number. I have contacted Paypal and my credit card company and after 2 months have been told that they cant help me as I went through Paypal.

I booked a family holiday to Dubai through Holiday Mood. They sorted out all the details over the phone and did the leg work for me. I was offered advice where I needed it. My only gripe was that they couldn't assist with information about a visa for one of our party. Please do not use this company. They trick you by quoting a very competitive price and once you pay your deposit, they call back to get you to change your dates and if you decide not to change or go with them, you loose your deposit. They do not give the eticket straightaway and blames on the airline. The sales rep was vague, uninterested and just sprouted off random prices within 5 seconds so I instantly thought something was wrong as he wouldn't have had time to check on the computer. Moreover, they booked two seats on my name. Why?

If you pay by credit/debit card, then notify your bank that you have not received the goods which you paid for, they will launch a fraud investigation and they may have to refund your money. Also ring ATOL who have had numerous complaints about this company and may be able to offer some help by applying external pressure on the company to act in a proper manner. I did both of these things and eventually received my e-ticket within a few hours of them being contacted by ATOL who license travel companies.

Couldn't agree with you more. Your case is very similar to mine.
When I did not agree to the alternative flight they promised a speedy refund. Weeks later despite registered letters and mails, still no refund.
I had to book alternative flight because I could not trust them anymore.
As I paid by visa debit card I approached my bank who repaid me within 2weeks.
Later they managed to get the money back from Holiday Mood.
They caused me a lot of stress, extra expense incurred and a lot to time wasted.
I m surprise they are still trading.

I think you just happened to be from the company because they are just a bunch of scammers. I bought a ticket from them and they cancelled the ticket before I reached the airport, retained the money and forged documents.

I have had the extremely unfortunate experience of dealing with this company. I am now thirty three weeks into suppossedly receiving a refund that hasn't materialised and no matter how much email or telephone communication I attempt, they lie, and and lie and lie. I'm losing hope that it ever will. Dealing with this company was quite frankly the worst pre and post travel experience of my entire life (and I am a very frequent traveler). Extremely rude, unhelpful and short tempered staff who more or less in a nutshell want to scam you out of money. We were promised a large refund for an incorrect order and were promised it would be reimbursed within days, however it has been over 15 months now and I am still fighting to receive even a penny off them. This company saved me few ££s. I spoke to Andy, he was very helpful and smart with his work. I have already booked my flights to Kuala Lumpur on their website but got a call from Andy and he offered me the best price which was £50 less. S in total saved £200 on 4 tickets. Hi, I have as well done a booking from them.After booking they told me that I would be recieving the ticket 14days prior to my departure. So did they tell u the same?? I am bit worried now.

These people are the worst you could come across, they are rude, aggressive, no manners, liars. This company tried to steal our money they made promises after promises about refunding our money we waited for months called them maybe 50- 60 times e-mailed them 25-30 times no response lies after lies. So we had to travel more then 100 miles in person to confront them. They would not disclose the owners name which could be obtained through companies house by paying a pound if anyone needs it.... I can promise you that you would not receive a less shambolic customer service experience than trying to book anything through holiday mood. To put my issues in a nutshell a man named Allen who it seems is the highest authority at the organisation told me after a couple complaints; in his words 'I did not come to your house to ask you to book a ticket did I?'
To say the least service was shocking and inconsistent and I would advice everyone to advice their friends never to come close to...

Following on from the 3rd April review I previously left...
After going to the airport to see if it was possible to go on standby to get on an earlier flight, I came home to call Holiday mood and was put through to Allen, the Ass. Manager. He said he had been trying to contact me and I thought maybe he had got us some tickets. NO. that WAS NOT THE CASE. This is the worst travel agency we have ever experienced. Booked flights leaving on a Sunday, booking confirmation came through with correct dates on it. E-tickets arrived and had flights leaving the following Tuesday. Have tried phoning and emailing every day since. No reply to emails. Manager never in the office - does not call back.
Only email received after 15 emails to them states 'We understand that there is delay in sorting out the dates for you. We know that you don't...

I booked a flight ticket,paid everything in January to travel in April.I was told i will receive the Eticket shortly. After a few days I called them back and was told will get the Eticket 2 weeks prior to travel.During the two weeks before the departure date,I kept calling them including the manager and i was told i will receive the Eticket shortly and it never came.

These people are crooks and the agency is total scum, STAY AWAY from them! In case you happen to have a holiday mood, surely they will spoil it (hence the name).Their behaviour is criminal I am going to follow this through.

I found this review very helpful because i am in the same situation, I have to cancel because the flight details are different from my confirmation invoice, my family and I had to come back a day later which means having to take an extra day off. They said they will refund within 3 weeks but I am still waiting.
<br/>They are not running an honest business, I will never use them again and would advise not to touch them with a barge pole. They are rude as soon as you do not agree to their terms which is not the same as the one on contract.

Can you please let me know what happened. A very similar story has happened to me and I have spent a fortune on tickets - that are the wrong dates, and they refuse to change it unless we pay £600! If any of you have taken legal action - it would be good to know how you went about it. Thanks

Go and see them in person and sit there till they give you an explanation we got the result we wanted except for loosing £150 as cancellation which i will still pursue to recover as they never according to the Airline concerned purchased any tickets on our behalf, so they charged us £150 for for just making a refund. They lied to us that the tickets were purchased which was a total lie as i went directly to the Airline who confirmed that no tickets were ever bought on our behalf.

This company has cheated on two occasions. Once when cancelled ticket and once while booking. After cancelling they promised to claim air port tax and refund part of it. They claimed it back from the airline but never passed a single penny to us. Other time they quote cheaper price over the phone and when you get mail to confirm and approve the flight they add extra fee making cost of your flight dearer than other agencies....Watch out for this company (read more)
