This place has been going down hill fast. It is a family pub, a premier inn, does good food but it seems to have got worse now that it is a Premier Inn when it should be getting better! I have spoken with many regulars and most seem to feel the same. It is mainly down to two things.

1) You now have to queue at the bar to order food along with other people wanting drinks. This means a very long wait on a busy day. This is ridiculous, you expect it in a Wetherspoons pub but not here. In... (read more)

“Terrible service.not the fault of the staff on duty....”

Terrible service.not the fault of the staff on duty. The one young chap on the bar had to deal with all drinks, meals and complaints. He was given no help from the so called manageress. a family occasion spoilt, and definately no reccomendation I doubt if this comment will make the least bit of difference. As falling standards seem to be the norm now.I was there for two hours and spent a total off 22 min waiting at the bar to order four drinks and two meals. (read more)
