“You will get less than what you bid on”

Written on: 22/03/2015 by 192Dobson (1 review written)

will only be too happy to sell you cars with wrong category (u for cat c&d). The cars are lifted by fork lift truck and raised to the right level to syphone all remaining fuel in vehicle ( if you are luky to get a picture of dash check on what the fuel gauge read before purchase and on collection /delivery). Additional damages are added before delivery for good measure as was on mine. They take your money for delivery and leave it for a couple of weeks before they even think… Read Full Review

“Car written off”

Written on: 01/02/2015 by MrAlfie0999 (1 review written)

Due to extreme weather conditions on 9th January 2015 our landrover parked outside our house was unfortunate enough to have a large tree from the garden land on it. The car was totally engulfed by the tree and was a write off. CoPart were appointed to collect the car and agree an amount to write it off by our car insurance company. To say this has become a nightmare is no joke! CoPart have tried to deduct money from the valuation due to a dent in the drivers door (when asked for photographs… Read Full Review

“Awful”

Written on: 06/11/2014 by Vaughanec168 (1 review written)

My car was written off due to someone going into the back of me. Therefore, this company was used through the other persons insurence to give me a quote on a settlement fee. The customer service over the phone was inconsistent. Arrangments for collection of the car were cancelled on the day of appointment, and then they never turned up for the new arrangment. They then arrived at my house on a day that was never organised or aggreed by me, for me to then be blamed for not being there. I never… Read Full Review

Matako's Response to crazycars's Review

Written on: 31/03/2015

Have bought two cars from Copart all incorrectly labelled as cat D only to turn up as cat C and leave me with extra cost. Spoke to customer service and they couldn't be bothered. God forbid that you speak to one called Jess, my God,she is moody. This company is fraudulent and I wonder how in this day and age, they can be allowed to get away with this.

“Avoid Avoid Avoid!”

Written on: 11/09/2014 by jayjayjay13 (1 review written)

Dealt with Copart Wolverhampton, whose customer service was utterly rubbish, manager was severely rude to us, and underhanded techniques were used to take back from us a car that we had won, and agreed to purchase with the seller after a little negotiation as our winning bid came under the reserve set by the seller. Absolutely appalling that in 2014, we came away suspecting racism was the key cause behind their neglect of us. Other customers were similarly kept waiting, dealt with as if there… Read Full Review

Just sold my car to Copart, was completely hassle free, all staff I spoke to on the phone both at head office and the local branch were so helpful and polite as was the man who collected the car. Everything went exactly as I was told it would and the money was in my bank straight away, and I was really happy with the price offered. I would really recommend Copart above other similar companies… Read Full Review

“Deception”

Written on: 28/01/2014 by dml10d (1 review written)

Watch out, I had over the previous couple of years I'd had maybe 10 cars from them. I recently bought a £35,000 car from them, damaged but listed "with keys". It was very new push button type start. The Car was delivered with the key from a different car, it wasn't running but this wrong key was immediately apparent & could easily been checked( by trying in a door!!) Even the delivery truck driver knew! Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, they knew before they sold it. Additional costs caused by… Read Full Review

Hi,
I also visit the salvage auctions of Copart frequently from last few years.Although Copart is a reputed name in the field of salvage industry still it is very important to do proper investigation before purchasing any vehicle from them.It is our prior responsibility to get everything checked properly before confirming it.

These Copart are above the Law, they dont give a cahoot, they just want money nothing else. Weather your right or wrong they are not one bid concerned. THEY WILL LIE TO MAXIMISE SALE FROM THEIR SIDE AND WHEN IT COMES TO OUT VEHICLE SELLING THEY MAXIMISE DAMAGE. GET GENERATE ALOT OF INTEREST.

Jayjayjay13's Response to Copartisrubbish's Review

Written on: 24/04/2015

What a joke! completely agree - went down to Rochford to see a Mercedes ML 320 CDI (Reg: EK57 LBE ) just in case some poor soul doesn't realise it and bids. This car was listed as runs and starts, and had no engine problems. Started talking to the lady at the counter, and she accidentally let slip that the car has an engine management light showing. I said, it doesn't look like it on the car, and she had to explain that sometimes sellers are called in (or copart do this themselves) to clear the warning lights. What an underhanded way to make a sale!

Also, I'm 100% sure that either sellers themselves push up the bid, or copart employees do it. I'm never going to use Copart, ever! and I suggest you don't either.
