“Do not use! ”

Written on: 10/02/2016

Failed to collect our vehicle saying it was unsafe to take. The vehicle was perfectly safe and all parts had been secured correctly as per Copart instruction. The driver for Copart clearly got out of bed the wrong side as he was rude and abusive and not someone you'd want to deal with. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I'm sure there are better and more professional companies out there… Read Full Review

Written on: 19/12/2015 by COVERNOTE (1 review written)

Just have a look at all the high end vehicles coming around and around and around again . Highest bidder on a vw touareg that just happened to vanish from my account, copart didn't know or care when I tried to find out what happened, miraculously the vehicle appeared back on the listing next day. BRING BACK D HALES :)… Read Full Review

Written on: 02/02/2016

Hello Covernote,

We are sorry to hear your disappointment in the service you received. Some high end vehicles are listed with a seller’s reserve. If the winning bid does not match or exceed this, the vehicle will be relisted. When this does happen we do send out an email letting the member know that they have been outbid.

Kind Regards,
Copart UK Limited

Copartuklimited's Response to Casey747's Review

Written on: 02/02/2016

Hello,

We certainly do not instruct staff to write positive reviews. If you could kindly email us to provide more information we will look into the matter for you. If a vehicle is advertised as ‘Run and Drive’ we do state what that means on our website. With regards to how staff dealt with your complaint, it doesn’t sound like it was handled in a manner that we would deem acceptable. Again, if you would be able to provide us more information such as your member number and the date and time of when the incident occurred, we will look into the matter for you. Please email your personal details to us.

Kind Regards,
Copart UK Limited

“rude liers worst company ever dealt with!!!”

Written on: 23/10/2015 by Marquiseg287 (1 review written)

Copart are the worst company I have ever dealt with - no wonder they have had several different trading names over the years! My vehicle was collected by copart and i was told I would receive a salvage cheque of approx £300. The company then offered me just over £100 asked me to sign papers accepting this ridiculous offer. Fuming I contact my insurance company who explained that copart should not be doing this and I will receive my £300. The arguing continued for 5 months (still vehical-less… Read Full Review

“Review of Copart ”

Written on: 06/10/2015 by McCainxi180 (1 review written)

they use their company name as backup behind their irrrational decisions. a copart employee drove my car to the collection bay then left the keys inside and they car locked automatically. they insisted it was the fault of the tow truck driver i sent which is utter nonsense. a normal person would have come to the conclusion that it is copart at fault but 'their investigation' total vindicates copart from any fault. terrible customer service… Read Full Review

“NIGHTMARE ”

Written on: 27/08/2015 by Frederickl29 (1 review written)

My insurance company sent my car to copart to be fixed after receiving an accident which caused a damaged wheel. Unfortunately copart said there is nothing wrong with my car and sent it back 3 weeks later. After several calls to copart requiring to whats happening to my car. Once finally receiving my car back. I had received the wrong key,the tow eye tap was missing,a tire was flat, log markings are still on the car which shown that the car hasnt been washed before being returned. My list is… Read Full Review

I bought a vehicle 3 months ago which was unrecorded & later turned out to be a CAT D. Contacted Wolverhampton branch, staff very unhelpful, constantly chasing the manager who never gets back when he says he will do. Appalling service. Still got the car. “Staff will never listen to your complain”

Written on: 27/07/2015 by teetee120 (1 review written)

Staff in copart wouldn't listen to complain, and would rather keep calls on hold for a long time or transfer calls from one department to the other. They will also refer to T&Cs that doesn't exist and if they're asked to show where the terms they refer to are written on T&C page, no one seems to know. After speaking to four different staff, no one seems to know the details of the company's T&Cs. what a shame… Read Full Review

“Copart universal salvage very poor car descriptions”

Written on: 02/05/2015 by Sheridan426 (1 review written)

if a had to write this review 2 years ago it would have been a glowing 4 star but lately copart are really srewing up. I used to buy from them when it was universal salvage, you could go to the site on the day of auction and view/bid on cars (following the auctioneer on his milk float) Since being copart and doing online auctions the majority of cars were as decribed but only 1 of the last 5 cars purchased from them didnt need major mechanical repairs. I only buy cars with the "run and drive"… Read Full Review

Cars are sold with altered mileages, missing parts or even wrong damage categories. Last car i purchased had whole interior missing!! Will never go back! “You will get less than what you bid on”

Written on: 22/03/2015 by 192Dobson (1 review written)

will only be too happy to sell you cars with wrong category (u for cat c&d). The cars are lifted by fork lift truck and raised to the right level to syphone all remaining fuel in vehicle ( if you are luky to get a picture of dash check on what the fuel gauge read before purchase and on collection /delivery). Additional damages are added before delivery for good measure as was on mine. They take your money for delivery and leave it for a couple of weeks before they even think… Read Full Review

“Car written off”

Written on: 01/02/2015 by MrAlfie0999 (1 review written)

Due to extreme weather conditions on 9th January 2015 our landrover parked outside our house was unfortunate enough to have a large tree from the garden land on it. The car was totally engulfed by the tree and was a write off. CoPart were appointed to collect the car and agree an amount to write it off by our car insurance company. To say this has become a nightmare is no joke! CoPart have tried to deduct money from the valuation due to a dent in the drivers door (when asked for photographs… Read Full Review
