I wanted to like this new series as I really like the writing style, and I've enjoyed Diesel in those between the numbers books, but for me the lelments didn't gel. She seemed to be trying too hard to be quirky, and the supernatural elements didn't help. I would try another book in the series to see if the satyle improves but for now I'll stick to re-reading Stephanie Plum for kicks. (read more)
