After months of hesitation, we finally decided to go ahead and have a new kitchen fitted. We looked around but couldn't find anything that didn't look cheap or flimsy. We also wanted to put our own stamp on the design of the kitchen and other companies didn't offer what we wanted. Really happy with the result. Bill Smith and Dominic (the fitters) arrived on time and only took two days to complete the job. They kept us informed and consulted us as and when required. My new kitchen has just been completed and I just have to say I could not reccommend Kitchen Emporium enough. From the moment I entered the beautiful show room the staff were friendly, knowledgable and not in the least bit pushy. I was given plenty of time to look around and they answered any questions I asked but did not try to give me the hard sell. “Worst Service Ever DONT BOTHER!”

From start to finish this kitchen has been a terrible experience, listen up then make up your own mind. They are the nicest people in the world, they talk the talk and nothing is too much trouble, until they have your money, then the fun begins... The Kitchen was measured wrong.. then it was our fault and we should owe them money for changing the plans???? Having trawled around various kitchen companies we came across kitchen emporium. We found the staff to be very helpfull with excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. Installation ran smoothly without any hiccups and completed within the allotted time. EXcellent price and good quality kitchen would highly recommend this company as I have had this kitchen since 2005 and it still looks like new. (read more)

We had a new designer kitchen installed by Kitchen Emporium in May 2011. We had initially had a quotation from Moben kitchens and paid a deposit for our new kitchen. As our design had to change to accommodate a change in our building design for our new Orangery, Moben called to see us again to offer an alternative design. It's actually been about 9 years since we had a kitchen fitted by Kitchen Emporium, and looking at most of the reviews I can see that not much has changed since then.Review sites like this unfortunately didn't exist in 2003. Driving past there recently and finding that they are still trading has prompted me to write this review now. just had it fitted totally thrilled. my partner loves it to bits. im the gadget man shes the cook (im not sexist she really is a chef) she got the good cookers I got my coffee maker (good tradeoff) very pleased with everything cant fault the service or the kitchen. quoted a bit less elsewhere but they could not do the things that kitchen emporium could do for some reason. now that its in I can say that it is worth every penny Tim and Pauline Wigan (read more)

Not only did we have a new kitched fitted and designed by Kitchen Emporium,we were that delightd with the professionalism of not only the team of Ian and Pam but with every single aspect from design to fitting of our top quality product. I am very happy with my kitchen. All the tradesmen were nice & friendly guys. This is my last kitchen & I wanted it to be my ultimate dream kitchen. The kitchen in solid oak is beautiful & I love it to bits. The strength of the units & the way it has been built will probably see us both out. Do not buy a kitchen from Kitchen Emporium, they sell shoddy cheap kitchens advertised as first class, if you obtain a quote from them check the kitchen out on the internet, we did too late and found the same kitchen for a fraction of the cost quoted by Kitchen Emporium. Read the terms and conditions carefully, we were told the kitchen carried a five year guarantee, only to find out when we complained that it only carried a one year guarantee, compare this with other kitchen companies which... We bought a kitchen emporium kitchen in 2009.
The service we recieved from all that staff, was absolutley superb.
From the initial visit in the wigan showroom, we knew this was the company for us.
They kindly gave us the grand tour of all they have on display, which I must say was outstanding.
They even shown us some professional photographs of work they have done, it was amazing.
Our kitchen, is a very awkward kitchen, with lots of unusual areas.

I had been to loads of other showrooms and nothing really hit me.
I stumbled upon Kitchen Emporium whilst I was driving home. I dropped into their showroom and I immediately knew the kitchens were amongst the best Id seen.

What a nightmare! For the last 4 weeks, my wife and I have been looking to buy a new kitchen. We went to all the big named companies offering many different prices for similar styles etc. In the end I decided to give a local small kitchen company a go...that's when our nightmares began.

Two years on...the day we received the kitchen the majority of the doors ordered were the wrong sizes and they were scratched! We had a nasty phone call from the owner and a bunch of verbal abuse because we did not want to part with our money until everything was put right. The owner even came down to our house and verbally abused us on our premises to try to get us to part with our money. We told him the doors needed to be put right if he wanted his money.
Some of the doors finally arrived. Be VERY careful when you receive your doors & carcasses especially if kitchen emporium are not fitting your kitchen! We nearly made that mistake! Luckily my wife was on the ball and she began to count everything only to realise a few of the things on order were missing! The guy delivering was reluctant to show us the copy of the items on order because the owner ordered him not to! Also, the carcass for the pantry had the drawer fittings in the wrong places which meant the drawers didn't even fit! The carcass needed to be drilled with new holes and the fittings for the drawers moved which means we have visible holes left there where there shouldn't be any.
Also, we bought this stupid Lemans unit for our corner cupboard which -according to our fitter - should have been fitted in the cupboard by kitchen emporium. It was not fitted and is still sitting unused in its box two years on! When we spoke to the owner about it a day after the kitchen arrived, he said that it was my fitters job to do this and not his. If that was the case then what he is saying is that drawers shouldn't be fitted either! What a load!
The kitchen we bought is shiny white. Two years on it is now yellow!!! We bought an extra door so we can buy an integrated washing machine when ours gives up the ghost. We have compared this new unused door to our other doors and this is how we saw how yellow our kitchen doors are now. Due to the one year guarantee, we cannot complain. I wish I'd listened to my wife!
Steer clear of this business! We are convinced the other 5 star reviews on here are written by kitchen emporium staff and family members.
