Never watched a movie with such logical system! My head was keep on running fastly like a computer, lol: can't miss even a second, otherwise I'll lose some important clues. It's very deep, I especially love the open ending, make me wonder a lot about what we should pursuit for lift. Worth a medal! It's a must-have, must-watch movie! (read more)

Loved it but was difficult to get head around it. Nolan clearly has great fun with his action films - the fights in a hotel corridor where there is no gravity and they are in the ceiling, a huge car chase through the city is all insane and i would recommend. (read more)

It's been the most favourite film of mine since I saw it, 2 years ago. I saw it twice at the cinema but I still don't understand it perfectly. It's quite complicated. But it was EPIC. How can people make the story like that? The detail, actors and the way of telling the story were absoultely brilliant. Usually, when I see a film again, it is a bit boring coz I know everything and it isn't the done thing. But this film was different. The second time was more amazing and I was able to... (read more)

I don't want to say too much about the plot, except that if you haven't seen it you really should. I saw it twice in the cinema, once at the Imax and what an experience. An aboslutely intriguing story, great visuals, fantastic actors. Christopher Nolan the director is brilliant. (read more)

Can you imagine writing this film? So elaborate, so many levels, so epic! Just a great film that will keep you guessing and hanging on throughout. At the end you can't even be sure if any of it happened...you might even wake up the next morning questioning your dreams and reality. Really great effort by Christopher Nolan can't wait to see his next piece of work. The acting was also exceptional. Love Marion Coltillard! (read more)

Hands down one of the best and most original movies i have seen in my life. I go to the cinema quite often and it seems like these days everything is either a re-make or twilight, but this film was mind blowing, From start to finish you will be on the edge of your seat. the visuals are eye popping, the music is haunting and the acting is top notch. Highly recomended! (read more)

I saw that movie by chance. I went with a friend to the cinema. Never even heard of the movie before, but it was great. I have never been a big fan of Leonardo DiCaprio,so I was a bit dissapointed in the beginning when I found out that he plays the main character but this movie changed my mind. He seemed to have grown into an actor who can be taken seriously and was very convincing. The whole movie was very entertaining and I have to admit I get bored quite easily of movies. Very often I... What a brilliant film!
If you like films where everything slots into place right at the end (almost) then you will really enjoy Inception.
The special effects completely blew me away, even on DVD. All the sets were very believable. The cast put in a very convincing performance which only draws you further into the story line.
I only wish now that I had gone to see it at the cinema to get the full surround sound experience. Certainly one to grab on Blu Ray if you have a HD TV.
With an... (read more)

I first saw this at the iMax in Waterloo and thought the film was incredible - this may have been more to do with the iMax than the actual film though. More recently, I watched it at home on blu-ray, and was less impressed. I think second time around it left me with many more questions than the first. One thing I will say though, is I thought it had an excellent soundtrack. (read more)

I was expecting a lot from this film, which is maybe why it fell slightly short for me.
It wasn't a bad film, in fact it was definitely 'quite good'. But I just felt that it lacked something. It seemed to focus too much on the whole 'dream within a dream' thing, which is a good concept but in my opinion not enough to hang an entire film on.
It lacked real depth of story-line beyond that and I didn't really enjoy the exploration of the characters that much.
It was mildly confusing but... (read more)

Despite the complexities of the screen play, the plot is very under nourished. The breaking up of a multinational corporation by a Japanese Business man, (a competitor?) being the only reason for the undertaking of the mission, which is the entire subject matter that drives the film. The real plot is a very simple one: DeCaprio's character Cobb, coming to terms with the suicide of his wife.
The presentation of the concept is designed to make the viewer feel uneasy about what is... (read more)

I found this film very confusing and quite long, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The acting was very good but the storyline was confusing, as they entered a dream within a dream.
Also I found the end of the film disappointing as it left the viewer hanging. The story of Leonardos past makes an interesting story.

Inception is the latest movie from director Christopher Nolan. Having proven his skill at twisting narrative in Memento and creating a dark and breath taking setting for Batman in The Dark Knight, Nolan storms the cinema with this tale of dream inception. Hans Zimmer provides a resonating soundtrack that cleverly interweaves into the story and does not merely act as a backdrop. Visually stunning with some very good casting, especially Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Third Rock from the Sun) and Ellen... (read more)

Fantastic movie. A cross between The Matrix, Dark City and The Cell.
There were a few parts of the movie that could have been explained a little better, but I'm guessing they were struggling to keep it under 2.5hrs.
The plot is very complex, but you do understand it - it is a very well thought out story. (read more)

Inception - the best mind-heist movie?!
If you enjoy films that make you think, that reward your attention with an intelligent storyline and that play with a slightly abstract concept then you'll love Inception.
I'd heard a lot of positive hype about Inception recently but avoided reading any of the critic's reviews because I'd heard it's better to see it without knowing too much about the plotline. I'll try not to spoil it for you in this review!
Director and writer Christopher Nolan... (read more)
