even though i had bad credit rating martin at dream car finance helped me out by finding finance for within a couple of days he even tried to help finding the appropiate car i had no trouble finding my own car and once the car details were passed on to martin to check everything was good the finance was paid to the show room within 2 days followed by a phone call from them. I have nothing but praise for Martin. I had various credit problems in the past and never thought anyone would be able to get me car finance. I would recommend to a friend with reservations. I didn`t need to take up a loan via this company in the end since a mate loaned me the dosh interest free. I was impressed with Martin`s people skills, he`s very warm and engaging. I presented Dream Car Finance with some pretty unique circumstances which really didn't stand much of a chance of succeeding. Martin worked tirelessly for some considerable time to try and find us the finance we needed, and he kept us informed of any progress throughout. Thanks to Dream car i was able to get finance for a 56 plate car. I thought Martin was very helpful and always kept in touch. Good customer service. Had slight problems finding a car that had to meet Dream Car specifications with the budget i had, so had to increase my deposit in order to keep my monthly payments at a controllable level.
I thought the ££200 Document Fee charged by the Finance Company was a bit steep - but thats the price you have to pay when you have poor credit.

<br/>Where vehicle criteria are set by the finance company (particularly where a customer has had previous issues with credit in the past) we will do everything possible to help find the perfect vehicle, and then to finance it!

<br/>It is worth noting that the document fee charged by finance companies that provide Hire Purchase car finance are not relative to a customers credit as suggested in this review. They are a standard charge made by the majority of, if not all, finance companies regardless of your credit circumstances and can be anything from £150 to £350 depending upon the finance company that is funding your loan.

Hi and thanks for your review.
Having looked at your application I can confirm that the only companies approached with your details were the two lenders, as discussed with you, that were used to secure the best approval for finance for you. We have not passed your details to any other companies.
If you're worried about this in future with any company, the best thing to do is approach them directly and ask the question - they are obliged to tell you if they have passed your details to another company AND you can specify that you do not want this to happen. Credit Reference Agencies such as Experian will also hold a record of any searches made against your Credit File, and who has made them, which you can check using sites such as CreditExpert and confront the companies direct as to where they got your details!
