The service provided was on time. Come at 8am on the dot to my home. Collected the vehicle from MARCO much appreciated from CAR CRAFT Wednesbury who carried out the full service. I have to admit that I do leave things to the last minute, same went for the car. Only this time the car give in before me, so I had to have the car repaired as well as the service, Not the most cost effective way of doing things but at least service4service saved me a small fortune. Service4Service advertised a service in accordance with manufacturer specifications. They did not do this, when challenged they verbally agreed on the phone that the full service is based on their schedule and not the vehicle manufacturer. Service4Service would not refund me, basically brushed me off. I then raised a complaint via CAB to Trading Standards. I also complained to my credit card company. SUCCESS. And in short it was, I have to be honest I did have my doubts at first. I've never experienced the whole idea of not actually going to get my car serviced and having it collected to be taken for me. But that said I didn't realise what an advantage this would be, where as before I'd have to take a day off to get it serviced and take a different day to do what I needed to do, this gave me the ability to do both in one. My car breaking down wasn't the surprise I was hoping to get for Christmas, The good old faithful ford focus had enough today and left me stranded. Found these guys after a quick search on my mobile and got my recovery service to take me to the local service centre just outside Kingston. I happened across service 4 service by chance while I was trying to book in my BMW for a full service. First of all the price was very attractive, so where is the catch???? Once my car was booked in and confirmed by a phone call as well as e mail confirmation, the servicing garage also rang me to check that pick up times were OK. It may not seem like rocket science, but when a company actually does exactly what they advertise...it sticks out a mile. i requested that my Audi A3 have a full service, 40000, its only just over a year old. yes the car was collected and dropped off. what happended in beween i dont know. the car was returned with the service showing due on the DIS, no stamp on the service book, and schedule of work carried out. Our VW was booked in a week in advance. Picked up OK, but the part booked in to fit had not turned up that day so they had to keep car in overnight. Much hassle. They could have ordered the part to be there before the car was taken in. Shame no one thought to apologize as they might then have got a recommendation as a number of people at work liked the idea and were interested in the result. The work seems fine and they paid for a taxi. (read more)

Well, it all sounded good in theory - they pick up your car from home or work at an agreed time, service it for a lower cost than using a main dealer, and then return your vehicle at an agreed time. So I made a booking to have my VW serviced. On the day, nobody came to collect the vehicle. When I phoned up I was told that the booking "had been cancelled". I recently used Service 4 Service for a Full Service due to the "Home Pick Up" option; I felt this was a convenient way of doing things. This is not the case. They outsource to another garage, miles from their office. I was called back by Service 4 Service and given a quote (provided by the garage outsourced, they never saw my car) to replace what felt like a lot, (I have a 2008 Audi A3 with less than 20,000 miles) the quote not including the small problem I had asked for them to look into... I have recently experienced the Service4Service package and want to advise people to avoid at all costs. They charged me £425 for a service and to fix my door lock. As you may know they make you pay to get your car back so before you have seen the work. I received the car back with the following issues after an inspection 2 BMW service: Lock still in the state it went to them in so still unable to lock my car via the key or remotely despite them quoting me for the repair and me paying... I have similar problems, service4service "did not" provide the equivalent dealer service. My view is it is better to go to a dealer company at full price, or use a local independent garage that you know and can trust. I will never use Servcie4service again, am very dissapointed.
