Monte Gordo is a clean purpose built resort with a magnificient sandy beach. The town centre is pedestrianised with numerous restaurants serving a variety of food mainly at very reasonable prices. They have the appearance of cafes rather than any character. There are a couple of small english low keys bars but if it is night life you are looking for then it is not for you. The resort is compact and very flat making walking easy. It is also a good centre for exploring with Spain only 3 miles... (read more)
