The trek madone 6.9 project 1 is an extraordinary ride. I have had the bike for 4 weeks (700k)and I am still discovering it's great attributes.
The trek replaces my 9 year old cannondale p700 which I was very happy with.

The 6.9's main plus's are stability at speed, very smooth on rough surfaces, and very immediate power transfer from crank to rear wheel.

It's negative is price. (read more)
