I advise my students to pay the extra for a proper set up and a better set of strings but beyond that I cannot fault these fiddles. My main gripe is tuning stability and constantly having to tune up in a group setting but the quality of the fittings overcomes this.
Failings? The case supplied has a plastic handle screwed onto polystyrene and they work loose but the instrument itself is the reason I recommend the Primavera.
