I bought a dress from here that I saw on one of their websites (they have several websites all with different prices and delivery charges). I bought from Arkent Dresses as the dress was £40 cheaper and the shipping was £16 as opposed to £70. I asked for the same colour as the dress on the picture but when it arrived it was nowhere near the colour on the picture, it was luminous green and hideous! The dress was also very poorly made with visible stitching on the dress and the shoulder straps so short that the bust area came up to my neck. I contacted the company and explained the problems and asked for a refund. They asked me to take pictures so they could contact their supplier and then about 2 weeks later they offered to give me a discount and that I could keep the dress. I didn't want the dress as it was unwearable. I ended up receiving a refund of 30% what I paid for it and am left with an unwearable dress! Would not buy from any of their websites again!

I ordered a lace wedding dress from the website weddingdressonlineshop.co.uk in January 2012. To begin with I payed with PayPal and that went smoothly. However I recived a conformation email that asked me to Confirm the deliverly date, which they hadn't actually have me. When I asked for a delivery date they wouldn't give me one, just said it Would take around 30 days to get to me. This is no good when you have to Be in to sign for the package. When the dress came luckily I was in. To my shock I had to pay the courier £9.99 airport china tax charge!!! This was not mentioned when I ordered the dress. The dress was lovely, but the details On the dress were wrong. On the dress I ordered it had a champagne coloured Sash with a diamanté brooch in te centre. However on the dress I had it had A white sash with a very tacky flower courage to one side. When I emailed the website to tell them off the wrong colour and Flower instead of brooch, they were useless and would not accept that They had got the order wrong. Also to my horror that kept putting the blame onto myself. When I asked them to help me return the dress they said that it was "i unfair to expect them To have the dress back" because they "would make a loss". So basically they expected me to wear a dress which was less then Perfect for my wedding day! How selfish! In the end they wouldn't take the dress back even though they had made A mistake with the colour and detail. I have had to re-sale the dress myself. Be aware of this if you order from them!

The web site is good and the service also appeared good up to the point of delivery. The dress was ordered close to the wedding date but not less than the stated delivery of 15-17 working days. I telephoned them twice before making the order to ensure that the date could be met and was twice assured that they could. When the delivery date was reached, I rang them again, twice, and was assured that the dress had been despatched. At the end of the day these assurances turned out to be blatant lies as the dress had not been despatched at all. The dress actually arrived 4 days AFTER the wedding. Had I believed what I was being told I should have had no wedding dress at all. Please be warned, YOUR DRESS MAY NOT ARRIVE ON TIME AND THESE PEOPLE LIE.
