“After sales service is shocking”

I had a sofa delivered at the beginning of July. It was damaged on delivery. A technician came and took photos and it was agreed it would be repaired. I have rung the store several times to chase it up and each time I've been told that no one has ordered the parts. This afternoon I spoke to a young girl who basically told me if I didn't like what she'd told me then it was not her problem. “Peeling Leather on Sofa ”

I brought a( Superb Baxter sofa & 2 chairs) in 2011 from Cousins & In 2015 the leather started to peel on the back of the sofa . I contacted Cousins and was told it was not a manufacturing fault. I paid Cousins to send a technician out and inspect it and he agreed it was not a manufacturing fault. I purchased a three piece suite in January 2015. I was told that delivery would be 4 - 6 weeks. 6 weeks came and went, no suite and no contact from Cousins. I rang Cousins who advised me that someone should have rung me and told me that it wouldn't be 4 - 6 weeks but 8 - 10 weeks. 10 weeks came and went, no suite and no contact from Cousins. I bought an extending dinning table from cousins of Dudley, only came to use the extension on Xmas 2016 after guarantee had run out for a family Xmas dinner. Could not get the extension leaf out as table built incorrect the gap was to small. Ordered self assembled triple wardrobes & chest of draws from Dudley branch. On opening my husband found several damaged pieces of the furniture & the chest of draws were no where to be seen. Rang customer services but only open Monday to Friday until 4.30 p.m. so what about us that work after these hours? After ordering our new couch last July from cousins regent road, and all the stress and torment we have been through it has finally arrived today, 3rd time lucky from SCS. DO NOT buy from cousins, we were sent the wrong colour twice, initially refused a refund and their customer service is disgraceful had to take them to the furniture ombudsman to get this resolved!!! “Abysmal customer service”

Check the guarantee very carefully when you buy. A guarantee document wasn't provided with my furniture, and now I have an issue they refuse to send me one, saying that it isn't written down anywhere. When I pointed out that it was a legal requirement to have one they said the guarantee was "under review" and sent me a furniture care booklet instead. I ordered some draws and bed side table. Well to start with they wanted 50 quid for delivery and they said they couldn't deliver it to the store. I later found out that they could deliver it to the store and I managed to get my £50 back. When I went to pick them up the customer service was poor and the people working there looked like they had a day to live. we bought a suite with puffe in the sale. I am absolutely disgusted at the poor level of customer service received at Tyseley branch in Birmingham. After placing our order on the 15th March we still have no delivery on our bedroom furniture with a baby due in 10 days time! After been told 8-10 weeks.. Visited the Cousins store in Manchester 25 Feb 2015.They have a clearance sale on for a while but don't be taken in! A lot is old display merchandise with damage in places.The sales woman in the furniture department couldn't have been less helpful about a chair I was going to buy.If you want it delivered it will cost £49.If you want excellent customer service this place is not for you.May I suggest a more pleasant shopping experience at Housing Units in Failsworth.Delivery charges by the way… Read Full Review

Cousins customer service is disgraceful! Took over 2 months to re-deliver a sofa that would not fit into the property. Chased them up on a daily basis only to receive generic and dishonest responses. We ordered two lamp tables from the Manchester store and paid £100 deposit. We were told that they would be available to collect in three to six weeks. Almost eight weeks later we hadn't heard anything and so we called them to be informed that the manufacturer had stated that they were out of stock and would not be available for at least another eight weeks!. After reading all the reviews prior to my first visit was quiet the opposite of service I received. No language barrier; racist remarks: staff professional and very welcoming.
