“I took out a prepaid mastercard with cashplus in...”

I took out a prepaid mastercard with cashplus in January last year. For the first year of the card until April, this year, no monthly fee was takenly as the card plan does not have a monthly fee. Then out of the blue, Cashplus took 2 payments of £4.95. Spoke to a customer service advisor who said that an email was sent to members page advising the charges. I have been forced to use this service by Adult Social Care & I've had nothing but bother. Direct payments go in & I am supposed to pay my enablers with the touch of a button Ha ! I have to ring the call centre almost every time just to get it to work. I'm now struggling to pay HMRC as the system does not recognise their account. Or won't accept it. “Dubious Dealings Inc.”

Sucks, no printed statements to remind you. They send one e-mail each month but all you can do is print it out, compared to other accounts its abysmal. Promised txt alerts to mobile have never arrived. No provision for you to review your account on a daily basis or make a payment. Seems only way to pay is by bank transfer or phoning direct. Money eating company I asked them to close my account on March and I had a balance of £0.25 the woman said I need to pay the outstanding balance of £0.25 then they will close my accnt and if the payment reach before end of the month she will automatically close the next thing I know on April my accnt still active and I have charged mh monthly subscription again also charge annual fee of £20.00 I called them and asked why my accnt still not close and the man cn even see that I requested on March to close my accnt he has no answer so I said I just want my accnt close today and he said I cannot do it its the back up team and they will call me after 48 hours I am beyond angry to cashpluss moey grabber

I looked at a comparison website to find a new card to use as Kalixa are closing down. Cashplus kept cropping up and with a few advertised features, so I thought I would apply, as the advert said 'Everyone accepted'. This is a complete lie, as I paid the initial fee by card which was taken straight away, and received an email saying 'your card is on its way!' “Top Notch”

I cannot praise cashplus enough. I have had the card for nearly three years now and no way will I ever go back to a high street bank. I have never had a problem with them and the customer service is excellent. I use my card for everyday purchases and I also get my wages paid onto it. Hi. I opened an account with them got accepted, I paid the £69 fee but for 1 week or so the account wasnt opened. I rang them and they hadnt received the fee. After i sent them proof they finally admitted that they might have assigned it into someone elses account(seriously how can a bank do that). They just sent me a closure letter after 3 months of using my business account. The notice says 60 days but they also disabled my account access. On phoning the customer services ( lot of use they are) I was told that they cant tell me a reason why and they cant take the disable from my account. The department that deals with this will not take any calls even from customer services. This is a breach of the banking code. They were quick enough to take my £69. “Wages being held to ransom - No idea when i may get them.”

Opened a business account to receive payments from my customers. Paid the £69 opening charge by faster payment, three days later it arrived in the account, was this a sign of things to come ? After having five invoices paid to the account, 11 days later none of the money has been credited. “Unreliable business account ”

I open a business account 3 weeks ago, I haven't got the card, £8000 has been paid into the account and I'm unable to access it or to transfer the money by phone even passing all the security questions to another account because I don't have the card. I can answer that's question for you wages are normally credited to your account between 7.30 and 8.30am the day your wages are due to be credited

Got a cash plus credit card after cancelling my vanquis as cash plus was a we bit lower apr. How can I put into words the abysmal "service " I have received from Cashplus?? 2 months after setting up the account and receiving my card, I STILL have no access to my money. They have lost documents, bungled the processing of my account, and repeatedly failed to reply to my correspondence when I ask what on Earth is going on. “Best for Online shopping security”

I have had a cashplus card for about 6 or 7 years now. I only use it for online shopping. I only deposit up to about £200 or just enough for what I want to buy. Then my main bank details are not online and if anyone hacks into it, they are not going to get my savings or main contents of my main bank account. I have NEVER had a problem with them. “Its not a main stream bank but works”

Dont expect Cashplus to be as fast as a main stream bank, but saying that it does exactly what it promises. There is usually a reason why we go to companies like cashplus and they offer a good service where others would offer none. Use mine for a business bank, where as mainstream may be instant it takes a couple of extra hours with cash plus; i expect it and it works. I had been using cashplus to deposit cash from my business For the last 2 months. Last week a member of my staff tried to use the card to pay for an order and it was declined. I called up the customer service dept(it took 3 attempts to get through went onto an answer machine and I was cut off twice!! I love my cash plus acct. Get everything I need, debit protect is a great help. Only thing that lets it down is the transfer time, can take a couple of hours to receive a payment. But if I were that desperate I'd go to a main high street bank. So yes it can be annoying, but if you hate it so much, go else where.
