I have had my card for nearly 4years now and have had no problems. I get my main business payments through this account and can easily manage funds from there. I can transfer instantly online to pay bills/ set up d/d,s or use in any store as a normal card. I can prebook and reserve hotels etc. and use abroad with ease. “Worst credit card company I've used”

I received my first statement and on it there was a late charge of £12 as they say I missed a payment which I didn't. I have contacted customer services and raised this and await the outcome. I have now started getting text messages saying I owe them £13.27 ourstanding which I don't. They are now threatening me with it will affect your credit history which was 100% before this company. Applied for a card 12 days ago as it was faster than waiting for the bank but they asked me to send I'd which I did 8 days ago, still waiting so I put credit on my phone to ring customer services I then spent 12 min in a que which ate up all my calling credit 41p per min. Today I received a junk mail from cashless saying I was pre approved for a cashless credit card, normally I shred these immediately but my wife said go try it see what happens. I went onto their website, entered the required data, personal details etc along with a promotional code, pressed enter, immediately the reply came, normally on any application site it would take at least 30 seconds on, so my conclusion is they wanted me to take a cashless card which was offered to me. The letters we send by post are a completely legitimate offer to apply for our Cashplus Credit Card. As we only send offers to customers that are likely to be approved for our card and assign them a code in advance, we’re able to ensure our application and decision process is simple and fast (subject to verification of identity).

I can assure you that we work very hard to keep our customers at the centre of everything we do and we make every effort to ensure any fees and charges associated with our product are communicated upfront. Overcharging customers is never our intention.

Allowing for postage times, a statement should always reach you in 7 to 10 working days, which is what should have been communicated to you. Same issue I had accept I was charged a £12 late fee for not paying my previous statement which I never even received. I only received my first statement from Cashplus on Friday 24.07.15

Back in February 2014 I was struggling to get a mobile phone contract, a decent bank account or a credit card. This was because I had no credit record. I saw this credit builder card online. Great card overall but used the iadvance twice and paid early. Depended on option to use again if needed but not available to me now. Confused why and helpline unhelpful. To your points on our iAdvance service, I’m sorry you’re confused that this is no longer available to you, and that you haven’t found our Customer Service team helpful in this instance.

We do our best to make our iAdvance service available to as many eligible customers as possible. And to do this, we need to look at a number of internal and external factors, some of which can change frequently, relating to your accounts and how they’re being used.

Because of how frequently circumstances can change, customers do fall in and out of eligibility. We’ll always notify you if you do become eligible again, but for your privacy, our Customer Services team don’t have access to any more information on when this will happen, or what factors are influencing it.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if there’s anything we can help with.

There's no time limit. I used mine every month for ages until the amount offered had built up to 500. Always paid back ontime or early then it disappeared for a couple of months and appeared again. It's done this more than once, they say it's a decision based on numerous factors but they don't elaborate. Who knows. I think the account and their service is really good and if iadvance is there when I need it, it's a bonus. You just can't rely on it.

i had an account for 2yrs with them i got overdraft sometimes direct debit and also iadvance always paid it back on time then someone closed my account by mistake had to oprn other one they did give me a good will for 50,00 but since i had ny new card from jan never once had anything no real

“Customer service is appalling”

Cashplus credit card is appalling. I rang to pay off debt and close account. Chap said he tried twice to collect from bank and both were refused. Insinuating I did not have funds in bank. Minutes later I paid online!!! then the trouble started! Same thing has just happened to me 30 minutes ago they took 2 payments of £100 each but said they didnt go through this was after being cut off twice when i first rang now got to wait till 15th july to get money back

I've had my Cashplus card for several months and can only speak highly of it. The online account is very straightforward to use, it is clear and concise and easy to manage. I load my card at the Post Office for free and it's on the card instantly. I have used it for payments online, contactless and in shops and never had an issue. Main Complaint My main complaint is that I received a text with load limit exceeded please call. I use Kalixa and have never had problems with them. They respond within 24 hours, its easy to use, they credit wrong charges without problems and there is no difficulty getting a hold of anyone. They do charge a small fee of 0.40 for transactions but not 0.99 like Cashplus according to existing clients, which is far too much. I imagines Cashplus would be the same. I’d first like to clear up any confusion you may have on our account charges. We have a number of different pricing plans available to customers, which are tailored to how the account is being used, and how often.

You’re correct that our Flexiplus pricing plan does have a £0.99 fee for transactions, but this account has no monthly fee. On the other hand, our Deluxe pricing plan does have a monthly fee, but has both free transactions and free ATM withdrawals. If you’re interested in seeing more information on this, full details of all our pricing plans can be found on our website (under ‘Products’ and then ‘UK Prepaid Cards’), and details of any fees associated with your own plan can be found in your Terms and Conditions.

Regarding the problems you’ve had trying to contact us - for your reference, we don’t currently offer email or online account servicing. To get in touch with our Customer Services team, you’ll need to contact us by phone, using the number on the back of your card, or under the ‘Contact Us’ section of our website. If you’re still planning to close your account, you can do this over the phone too.

To your point on us passing information to advertising partners, I can confirm this is not something we do. Let me know if there’s anything further I can help with.
