“Unreliable business account ”

I open a business account 3 weeks ago, I haven't got the card, £8000 has been paid into the account and I'm unable to access it or to transfer the money by phone even passing all the security questions to another account because I don't have the card. They said the hand sent it twice and still haven't received the card, there is no branch, the don't use a secure delivery system. I got a cashplus credit card last December, there is £500 credit on the card, each time l try to purchase online, l am told the card cannot be validated and advised not to use it ????????...trying to fix this problem is hopeless, customer services never reply emails, cant help on the phone, and the silly members lounge online is woeful… Read Full Review

I can answer that's question for you wages are normally credited to your account between 7.30 and 8.30am the day your wages are due to be credited

Got a cash plus credit card after cancelling my vanquis as cash plus was a we bit lower apr. “Absolutely Atrocious”

How can I put into words the abysmal "service " I have received from Cashplus?? 2 months after setting up the account and receiving my card, I STILL have no access to my money. They have lost documents, bungled the processing of my account, and repeatedly failed to reply to my correspondence when I ask what on Earth is going on. “Best for Online shopping security”

I have had a cashplus card for about 6 or 7 years now. I only use it for online shopping. I only deposit up to about £200 or just enough for what I want to buy. Then my main bank details are not online and if anyone hacks into it, they are not going to get my savings or main contents of my main bank account. I have NEVER had a problem with them. “Its not a main stream bank but works”

Dont expect Cashplus to be as fast as a main stream bank, but saying that it does exactly what it promises. There is usually a reason why we go to companies like cashplus and they offer a good service where others would offer none. Use mine for a business bank, where as mainstream may be instant it takes a couple of extra hours with cash plus; i expect it and it works. “Closed my account”

I had been using cashplus to deposit cash from my business For the last 2 months. Last week a member of my staff tried to use the card to pay for an order and it was declined. I called up the customer service dept(it took 3 attempts to get through went onto an answer machine and I was cut off twice!! “Great but not the fastest”

I love my cash plus acct. Get everything I need, debit protect is a great help. Only thing that lets it down is the transfer time, can take a couple of hours to receive a payment. But if I were that desperate I'd go to a main high street bank. So yes it can be annoying, but if you hate it so much, go else where. “Cashplus holding on to my money!”

I transferred £5000 on Friday at 9.42am from my Cashplus Business Account to my personal account. It is meant to hit the same day and has done up until now. But for some reason, the money seems to be suspended. The full amount has been debited from the Cashplus account but nothing has arrived in my personal account. Dear Cashplus Customer,

Sorry to hear about your situation. Without more specific details, I unfortunately can’t clarify exactly what caused the delay in this instance.

However, our personal accounts do generally have a maximum balance limit of £5,000. So, if there was any amount in your account prior to the transfer being sent this would exceed the account limit.

If this was the case, you can always find information on all your account limits on your Terms and Conditions (accessible via your Members Area homepage), to try and avoid this situation in future.

To try and address your other concerns – we changed our phone number at the beginning of October, so it’s now much easier to get in touch with our Customers Services team. (♦Calls to 03 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to a 01 or 02 number and will count towards inclusive minutes in the same way as 01 and 02 calls.) We don’t currently offer email servicing for customer queries (aside from formal complaint handling) so this is why you wouldn’t have been able to get in touch with us that way.

“Easy Business Banking”

As a new ltd company opening an account with a high street bank takes while so I decided to try the cashplus business account. So far so good. Been with them for a few months now, no problems at all, even has an overdraft facility and debit protect facility. Taking out cash will cost you £2, even if you take out £10, so when I take out cash I tend to make it over £100 that way the £2 doesn't really matter. You can't go far wrong with it to be honest. I pay for this card up front 69.00 pounds for first year. The instructions state 69 pounds will be removed from my accout as soon as I load my account with money! I telephone to query this and what I get is an unhelpful woman being suspicious and doubting what I am saying! She went on to say I had to provide evidence of this. ''Bank'' is probably an over-glorification of what is effectively a credit card company. Please note you are immediately crippled by CASHPLUS' credit limit of £15,000. I was told to that this could be increased, and was asked to send in details of my clients, an invoice and terms of business. Thank you for posting that, i am having a similar problem with them. they have refused to increase my credit limit - even though there is no credit involved - it's my money getting paid into them and they are telling me I can't pay in more than £15,000 - I feel like they are being suspicious about the money I am paying in and wanting to know where it comes from. Absolute joke. Its the first time I have had TOO MUCH money in a bank account!!!!!!!!

“Very Poor”

No transaction carried out with this company is ever quick. A payment made into the account on a Thursday will, often, not reach the account until Monday. If the transaction is above a seemingly random figure it can take longer. Payments from abroad never get into the account and require you to call customer service to claim your money. Transfers out of your account take at least a day. All of this renders the account useless… Read Full Review

I originally took out this card for holiday/traveling use but have found them so good and reliable I use it as a Main Stream account now, I have used iAdvance and had no problems, I have recommended this card to a few people who are using it still, I have dealt with customer services, again no problems the same with DD's all good even texts if there isn't enough to cover to give you chance to top up. Got a letter telling me I had already been accepted for a card. Applied and accepted almost before I pressed submit!! Card arrived which I activated at a ridiculous amount per minute on my phone... We do send out emails to encourage those who have taken out our Credit Card to make the most of the product they’ve paid for and it does sound as if there was an error in the email you received. Normally we would provide a date that you need to use the card by, so I do apologise for any inconvenience we’ve caused you.

Regarding your PIN, you can request a new one from our Customer Services team. We’ve recently changed our phone number, so you can in touch with us easier. Calls to 03 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number and count towards inclusive minutes.
