I booked lessons through Drive Dynamics and they allocated me there instructor [name removed], Having had lessons previously with the AA and Bill Plant I had taken over 50 lessons and failed 2 tests. Last week I passed on my 3rd attempt at Kingstanding test centre. The teaching methods of this guy [name removed] was totally different to the other 2 instructors I had in the past, he explained everything really well and gave good explanations on what and why he was telling me to do stuff.... Really pleased with [name removed] my driving instructor, I could'nt of asked for any better. Really good teaching and very friendly. Very productive lessons but had a great time at the same time. Very honest opinion on how many lessons you will need before you pass. I liked the fact that it was a very personal program, the way I was able to do and practice whatever i felt i needed to improve on. I was recommended my driving instructor by my friend from college. I didn't really have any confidence when I first started and was really nervous, but Wendy soon made me feel at ease. She is good at explaining all the manoeuvres and has made me feel really confident. I would recommend her to anyone, I get on with her well which makes my lesson that bit more enjoyable. She is also very flexible and manages to fit me in every week even if she's busy. And my first 10 lessons for £99 bargain! (read more)

If you are in East Berkshire then try to get [name removed] as your instructor. Despite being based in Maidenhead/Slough he (literally) went out of his way to have me as a pupil in Bracknell. I was most impressed with his knowledge, patience and likeable demeanor. I really got the sense that this instructor believed in me which, of course, helped me to believe in myself. Forgot to add:
1. [name removed] promotes all types of driving in his lessons, not just those you are likely to come across in your test - I truly believe that this has made me a more rounded driver.
2. I only got 2 minors in my test as the preparation was so thorough.
3. He gave me a banana on the morning of my test to help keep me calm and focused. That's right, a FREE* banana!
* This may have been preferential treatment, [name removed] may not offer free banana's to all students.

I could go into plenty of detail but basically I spent 2 months being taught how not to drive and being parked up. I then went with the AA and passed in 3 months. (read more)

started off very good but then started to arrive late for lessons and then coming late and also finishing lesson early which means you dont get the time paid for.having then paid for lessons up front the instructor then started cancelling lessons right at the last minute and eventually he never turned up at all.so if you fancy getting ripped off use this driving school. Booked the £99/10 lessons for my sons Birthday present as i am with their other company Kan Kans. Firstly, asked my son was not contacted until his birthday, the instructor telephoned him on the day of the booking ruining his present. Friend used a bloke who drives a new fiesta for the company. He was scared as the driver made him drive 20mph in a 60mph zone. Also followed car once and this driver caused a 6 mile tail back driving at 15mph in a 30mph zone and he had no passenger. Bloke in black fiesta who drives for this company needs sacking. (read more)

I recommend everyone not to even think to take lesson from this driving school. I have paid 7 lesson money and its been more than a month still have not get any leesion neither return my money. I booked in advance 7 lesson they given me the time and day, but nobody has come even when I called in office for what's going on they said we will find out and ring you back however, I haven't receive any call. I have been called more than 5 times during the day but I found staffs are rude and there is no professionalism on them. We booked 10 lessons for my son in Bacup Manchester but when the insructor arrived, he decided he wasn't going to take him for lessons. we called Drive Dynamics for refund but the still refuse to refund the money, even though he did not take a single lesson. They are a big con and once you pay through money, they will never refund. please be warned, DON'T use this driving school. (read more)

Thanks for posting this review. We live in the SE, and I nearly considered purching their 5 lessons for £60 deal. As my daughter is mixed race, but looks for black than white, I would have been furious if this had happened to us which I'm sure you are! Hope you've contacted Trading Standards and BBC Watchdog! “Disgraceful treatment in Manchester”

Absolutely disgusted at the treatment from the call centre. I tried to book my first lesson for it to be cancelled at the last minute. When I tried to call them to rearrange they have said that they will call me back...this happened THREE times over a space of 2 weeks. They have refused to put us through to a manager to complain as "it has to be written in an email" that they will respond to in 14-21 days!! I just do NOT understand how they are getting away with speaking to people the way... (read more)

My driving instructor was Tara Singh and he was absolutely brilliant really good and clear communication very calm and patient. I wasn't the most confident of drivers but Tara really changed that and the results show that because i passed my test the first time. His car, a mini is easy to drive and his instruction has been thorough and interesting for me. I'm having fun doing my driving lessons, thought it would of been a nightmare. The old dude teaching me (David Lees ha ha ha) is funny and has made this experience enjoyable. Dave Lees was recommended to me by a freind, as I needed to pass my test within 3 weeks for a job. I was told he was the man to sort it. He got me in for my theory within the week, he then got my practical test booked in for a week and a half later.
