Mojo Surf School operate along the east coast of Australia and offer a great way to get involved in surfing.
The lessons are done in a group environment and are taught by typical surfer dudes/dudettes. The emphasis is on having fun and is in fact one of the rules.
Having joined Mojo Surf in Sydney and at Spox X(in between Sydney and Byron Bay) i can say Spot X was miles ahead. It was a totally secluded beach with great learner waves. You stay at their surf camp and hang out with your group.... (read more)
